I did upgrade my tyres, very minor change in gear ratio. Nothing much.

A good buy indeed. Been using the sena system for the past 5-6 months now. So i know how a big boon it is when it comes to audio GPS directions. Its way safer than having to look at phone or gps screen each time. Then comes the usual emergency "where the hell are you" call from mom.
Do check wether the system is weatherproof or not. A friend was on lookout for a cheaper option like this and being in kerala weather is something that we always have to worry about.

Is that legit genuine LS2 helmet ?

All that music/call/GPS features are standard equipment with Helmet ?

How come this is better than a good earphone with mic and button(Rs.1500 for Senneiser) and a GPS map like Google Map in Android ? considering the fact that provided ear phones and call accept/disconnecting module look like fat !!

I went for a trip to Munnar yesterday, writing my first travelogue yeaa!!
Some helmets as you move up the price scale have ports/holes/recesses that are ready to accept these kind of systems so that they dont have the inconvenience of causing ear pain during long runs.(both my sparX and Nexx have the capability to use such systems factory built. So fitting the Sena was easy as a cake).
Good trip Indeed. Was there last weekend myself. perfect climate i must say.

Yes, that needs to be checked, but I seldom ride in the rain so it would be ok for me. Main work for this would be my GPS and urgent calls.
There is one more on Aliexpress that is I guess waterproof and falls under "inexpensive" tag too :P

That would be great. Gonna change mine at the end of this week.
I have the setup you mentioned(ie zapper vyde at rear and zapper fy1 at front)
If you want grip and love cornering, you will love this setup.
With the fy1, height of the front will drop which in return gives you better feedback from the front and also braking becomes very good and the feedback from the brakes you'll get will be awesome.
But you will feel bumps more compared to before, speedo shows error of around 2kmph.
Overall it provides amazing grip be it braking, cornering, wet or straight. It sticks to the road.

                            • Apache RTR 180 (Variant: Old model) DOP: MAY 2015

                              Hi All,

I have been in search for purchasing a new bike since 6 months and tried to check out the reviews of the latest Apache RTR 180 or the information around the web. I did not found any latest reviews so far and thought of sharing my ownership experience.

My previous bikes: Kelvinator Avanthi Autogear, Kinetic Honda, TVS Apache RTR 160, Now RTR 180.

I'm interested to buy an R15 but due to its pillion seat height I dropped the idea as my mother needs to ride on it regularly.

My experience with Apache is awesome and from the first day I am in love with it but the cons are vibration in the past. But this time TVS guys have refined the engine well and it doesn't vibrate much. I will share my experience in the coming days as I have completed 700kms till now.

I can share you the pictures of the changes done in the bike later. Thanks for reading my post with patience and grammatical mistakes too ....

Cons: The only thing I am not satisfied is the tank scoops are now made of plastic.

The new RTRs now comes with a Disc Cover. Such a feature was in Discover 100.
