coz wat happens is the screw which is used 2 regulate the idling is acting kind of weird....sometiems whn i set it to 1.2k rpm at idling after a ride the idling turns out 2 be 2k....and again i have 2 reset it....

so i have now settled 2 a idling of 1.1k and not facing this problem nemore...but have doubts if i am having the right AFR and the perfomance...
First of all mixture has nothin to do with the kmph at the respective RPM, it all depends on the gearing and secondly never set ur idling RPM in the cold engine cuz when the engine becomes hot the RPM increases, always set it at the hot engine.

I forgot 2 mention abt gear change at 3k-4krpm...but my doubt is if my mixture is lean how come u can attain similar speed at similar RPM conmpared 2 a rich or ideal mixture??

Irrespective of the gears and the RPM you're changing them at, mixture has nothing to do with the speeds at the respective RPM my friend.

Rich mixture never makes a bike do 5200 RPM in indicated 5000, nor the lean make it do 4800 at the same, the fluctuation of the engine speed by the mixture cannot be controled as it's always because of the carefull gear ratios decided by the manufacturers.

                    • congrtas again...nice pics btw.Better stay away from fuel additives. It's simply a waste of money IMO and the claims are just a marketing gimmick...even if it isn't, I think you'd do better without it...
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

I think u are still not getting my point....wat i mean is, suppose a byk is doing 70km/hr at 5k rpm..considering u shift at 4k...will the speed be same in case of a lean, ideal and rich mixture?????

u can do a 60km/hr at 5k in 4th gear or 70 at 5k in 5th...that varies and that is not my concern...

i hope u get it this tym...

how much have u clocked till date....if its more than 6k on ur odo...than u can go 4 semi synth...no probs....and ya..it MAY slightly reduce the vibes....havnt tested yet..but theoritically it is...

a good semi synth will be neone from Mobil 1, Shell, Motul...

                            • Road Trip atlast!

Guys, Finally went on a nice road trip on my Bike to Murud Janjira and Harihareswar. The Bike felt good, climbing ability was awesome and so was the handling.... Decent Mileage and overall it made me happy.... But still feel it shouldn't have such a short gear ratio or a sixth gear would have been wonderful .....

                              My best trip till date:http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/2...uke-390-a.html
