They charged me 2100rs including the tax and fitting charges.I know its a little high but had no other choice as zapper c is better than IRC tyre and those are the ones that exactly meet the stock tyre profile. Its available in MAS Tyres in alwarpet and also in a small mrf shop in perambur.
My old tvs tyre is totally ruined found a 1x1cm piece of glass inside the tyre and a small nail

Hey Guys,
Received a call from TVS showroom asking about feedback..!! There was not much to give lol...but that girl was not knowing anything about RTR's lol..
I told her that I am facing problem with my tachometer...and she was like.."what's that..?" I tried to explain her with RPM meter..i thought she would get that..!! but...
I think it's better they don't call me if such a people are there to handle to bikes..!!
So, I was saying is it a chief decision to let a good mechanic (which I personally trust and know is intelligent
) to open up my bike or make any repairs into it..?? The reason am asking that is my bike has just finished 9 months and is still under warranty but the bike is screaming loud to have a good mechanic's hand on it coz TVS here...what to say a lil' bit lazy..!! (I mean no active.!!
)
I personally thinks, there goes some problem into my engine..some extra noises coming to play after a small constant 60km/hr~100km/hr run for a looooong stretch some days ago..!! (bike serviced just 2 weeks ago)
@Swagat Golden rims...looks kewl..!!

Today morning while i took my bike out i heard a metal clunking type of sound from the rear side. It gradually increased with speed. When i checked i found it to be coming from the rear disc. Guys, any idea what would be the reason for the noise? It sounds as if the disc is screeching against another metal. The rear brake still has enough bite, so i dont think the brake pads have completely shaved off.

One pad might have been worn out and other side might still be in working order.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostProbably it's tappet sound.

this happened to me once-
the service guys while servicing had not tightened my silencer connection from engine when they did something n when i was on my way to college weird sounds started coming from bike as if i put a booster and smoke from engine.., man i was worried then.
i took it to a local mechanic n he fixed the prob n when i asked the service guys all they had to say is we don't know how it happened :P

How about getting down on knees and checking the places around disc?There's lot to it other than saddle....
