I am a college going student so i have limited income. Maintenance is a top priority. I already own a P220 but the bajaj guys are extremely disappointing. I had no plans to sell P220. But after I am suffering from a broken leg because of carelessness of the Bajaj Guys. I am keen to get my hands own this Streetfighter. Please suggest if this bike would be great for me in terms of mileage maintenance and pick up. Thank you. Hoping for the right decision this time.
    with the RTR180,45kmpl is a little too optimistic mileage figure..rest all is really good.why dont you post this in the what bike section?..

      • i saw the post now,sorry......40kmpl can be extracted with ease..if you are a little easy on the throttle ie..just for info,mine gives around 38-39 most of the times..

          I get mileage varying from 35-45km/ltr.

          If you are taking it easy on the throttle then you can expect mileage of upwards of 45kmpl too. Last Sunday did a 500kms 'rainy' ride. Ripped the bike well and still got 42km/ltr of overall mileage. At points i was even breaching 125km/hr. But the most part of the journey was done between 5-6k.

          Expect 35kmpl in city conditions.

            I wont be riding at higher RPMs , Not quite possible in Mumbai traffic Mostly not going to go above 4000-5000 rpm.

                        Delhi is no different either..Traffic here also s**ks big time!....

                        Get the RTR and you'd eat your words back..!
                        You might not get enough stretch on your daily commute to enjoy redline rush but the 200-meter deserted tarmac before your destination is good enough to squeeze the juice out!

                        Ride safe though..Speed is addictive but killing!

                        @Chicane..

Lets see what they find out.
