You can do it yourself. Its nothing just turning the screw with your hands, you don't even need a screwdriver Here is the screw, right below the reserve knob

Thanks about the travelogue compliment thingie Though its better if you comment respective threads, be it mine or anybody's. It gives the author some motivation LOL anyways, nevermind, you ain't need to post in those threads now Just said "generally" for all logs you read on xBhp

About the RPM, yes you should adjust it when the engine is hot. You can ride for 4-5 kms and then do it The idle RPM should be 1.1-1.2K, IMO

Today, when I went to the TVS showroom at Panvel, found that the new batches of RTR180 & RTR180 ABS are fitted with OSRAM brand halogen bulb i.e.OSRAM HS1 35W.But the RTR Hyper edge still comes with Halonix brand.HS1 and H4 are the same except the difference in middle pin thickness. Both are dual beam bulbs. HS1 is specially designed to use in two wheeler assembly which will offer the best out of its specific design.

                    • Guys, last thursday and friday, my bike was showing some serious knocking/jerking issues... i almost felt like the bike was going to have a seizure. So on saturday morning went to SVC and handed over the bike to them, generally they give me the bike after servicing by 12:30 noon, or max 2:30, but this time they said they are working on the bike whenever i called them, on monday evening they informed me that they are finding fault with the electricals and they are unable to rectify the actual problem as such, so they are going to replace the carburettor, and may be a few more parts(didnt mention anything properly)

What is the approximate cost these parts? and will i have to do the run-in again since the carb is being replaced?
What might have been wrong with my bike?(They said they'll give it back by today evening)

zero if bike is under warranty. and no you will not need to do runin again after carb change.
maybe your tci is gon or their is somthing with carb. dont worry you will not have to pay a single penny .and while taking delivery make sure the problem is vanished totally.

Pick up has gone down and the engine has become noisy I dunno how to explain this problem to the SVC guys because the bike acts so normal when cold. After I drive for 3-4 kms, I can feel the loss in power. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?
Dude, can you take a close-up pic of your spark plug and put it here? That will be a good place to start for us.
