      ABS version - Servicing

      Guys, i got my first servicing on my RTR ABS last month but i was not happy with the way they checked the ABS part. Ideally, they are supposed to hook up the bike controller to a PC and check the settings but after initially telling me that they will check it, they dint do anything.

      After i asked the owner, i got them to connect the machine to the PC (mine was the 1st ABS they were servicing) but they had no clue on what to do with it...has anybody had a better experience? does somebody have any contact at TVS whom i can send an email to check on this?

            kirankj- i dont give my bike in arunagiri- i dont give my bike to the svc at all cuz they suck! i give it to mech.again i check the mileage(city mileage).i rode sanely with max 70 kmh.cruising mostly at 50-55. got a mileage of 40 kmpl.which is still not upto the mark as before i used to 46-47 with this kinda riding in the cities.

              Help!!

              My A180 is 5k kms old and I rip my bike all the time For the past few kms I feel like the punch of RTR is missing. Pick up has gone down and the engine has become noisy I dunno how to explain this problem to the SVC guys because the bike acts so normal when cold. After I drive for 3-4 kms, I can feel the loss in power. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

                i used to ride in max speed of 53 to get 45-48 mileage
                avg speed was 48-53 [4k rpm]

                now hardly under 60

                  Same here dude. Got my second servicing done. They dint check the HECU even once. They dint even inspect the sensors on the wheels..

                        On a Apache RTR 180, the vibe's disappear from around 75km/hr. It won't be felt till 60km/hr either, from my experience.

                          shall i ask for bike change now??? any ideas for vibes reduction...bike had a fairly decent runin....bore and crankshaft replaced under warratnty when bike had done 1020kms bikes now done 6785 on odo..using shell engine oil..

                            check oil level.. or try changing ur engine oil brand.. might help..

                              is your air filter clean??
                              is there any issues with the fuel ur using??
                              is there sufficient oil in your bike??
                              is the tyre pressure set accurately??

                              try checking for these
