Also the valve in the engine had broken a bit and those metal parts were revolving with the oil. He then replaced the valve, flushed all the oil with metal parts and put in Motul 3000 15w50 oil into it.
I guess the valve had broken due to low oil levels. This was the first time I changed my engine oil to Motul from the Liquid Gun which RE service centre provides. Service centre guys say that the oil runs for 6000 kms and also the manual mentions the same. But mine got over much before the recommended 6000 kms that too without any oil leaks. They are grossly mistaken about how long the engine oil works.
    Hi,
I am using Motul oil from many days and very happy with it. I would suggest to change the oil at 3K interval.
So much Oil burnt without leakage is a alarming. it is due to the valve (mostly exhaust) or block/piston is gone for a toss. as you have added a new value, keep an eye on the oil level.

Yes. Oil change at 3-4k kms interval. And will definitely keep an eye on the oil level and such sounds in the future.
But I didn't understand why the oil level was shown normal in the window after a 300 kms ride when the oil inside was so less. Normally after a long ride the oil level goes down as the oil is properly circulated in the engine. So I assumed it would have been normal if I had checked later when the oil had settled.

Ooops, I miss to read that oil level is normal.
Have you measured the drained oil quantity or going just by mechanic's word? when you drain the oil, you will never get 2.75 ltr of oil but 2 to 2025 ltr of oil only.

I wouldn't have gone by mechanic's word only.

I went with the mechanics word though I'm going to him since a while so he's quite trust worthy.
Anyways bike works as a charm now. Really smooth with gear changes and starts quickly. Hopefully no issues like these in the future.

Semi synthetic goes around 6k. These service centers are run by a bunch of fools

i dont think so.. ASCs surely will sell at MRP.
although you can go to a RE spares dealer and try and haggle to get the cost down on the MRP. Also, check if they have warranty.

              one more thing..

the Instrument Cluster is highly prone to misting up during rainy seasons. Mine mists up right above the digital console.
I have had this issue since the beginning and the a**hole ASCs refuse to identify this as a quality issue..

I did check it at a RE Store in Karol Bagh and they quoted 5000 - 5500, around 1000 cheaper than the SC, however did not check if it provides warranty. You can get anything and everything for RE's at KB and have done quite some replacements there. My bike is at 57k hence I believe its anyways out of warranty.

I believe stop replacing. Thats what I have done, if your speedo/rpm and fuel meter is working thats good to go...rest all can be based on guess work.

Moreover, even the side stand indicator led is been removed from the bike but the sensor(in side stand) is been still provided with. It is funny that the owners manual given to me mentioned both these features. The showroom people doesn't even know why it's taken off. But customer support informed like some govt guidelines asked for removing these features. I asked them to explain which govt guidelines state such, and as usual no answer from them. I was expecting these features in my brand new bike but really disappointed in being taken back unnecessarily by Royal Enfield. And the most sad part is that no one gives a proper reason for removing the features. It seems new bikes doesn't have these features anymore. disappointed so much.
As far as the hazard lights are concerned a mech can get the wiring arranged without tampering the main wire ( if it is a good mech ). In Delhi KB I have done all sorts of wiring combinations/permutations without having the main electricals tampered. Sad to know the side stand indicator has been taken off. The entire speed assembly unit will start giving your problems in sometime ( display, switches, etc ) so be prepared for that and not loose heart

I bought a TB350 stone 10 days back ...so far I've ridden 250 kms and my experience was good until today morning when I started my commute to office. I was starting the bike after 2 days, I thought it would start by switching on the choke for a few seconds as the weather is cold here. My office commute is about 25kms (10 kms city, 15 kms village), road is very smooth. But today my commute was made worst , the bike would stop slowly after running every 1-2 kms ... Resting for 5 mins the bike would again start and run for 1-2 kms. Road side assistance was of no help, their hold period never stopped. I didn't face any problem when I returned. Tomorrow their workshop is closed ,due to republic day . I'm planning to visit on Saturday.....anyone else facing this issue?

The seats are very hard on my TB350. Can anyone suggest how can I add more cushioning to it? The suspensions are stiff and hard seats make it worse for the butt.

Issue resolved seems an air pipe was jammed and the mechanic used hydraulic pressure to clean . now it runs very smooth

                      still waiting

Also the fuel gauge is very unexpected. How much kms will the bike run when it starts blinking?

Around 120kms after blinking. 100+ for sure. I always keep the fuel position to ON so that i know when i go to reserve. Reserve should be 50 kms so thats a good indicator.
problems of having a huge tank right?

i don’t get how to use main reserve in bikes. i fill ₹500 everytime and after 200+ kms the bike will stop slowly or not start. thats when i put the knob down to reserve & then after 50 kms the fuel meter will start blinking. the same thing used to happen with my previous bike passion pro. i used to ride a 150 kms in reserve after 300 kms in mains on a ₹500 petrol fill.

Do I have to worry about the leakage? It appears to be arising after its first service in both sides of the engine.

Clean it and ignore it. It is coming form the clutch cable. I guess you / service center guys has added oil in clutch cable.
