It's around ₹800Originally posted by roadd3m0n View PostHow often have people here replaced chain and sprockets set. I am about to change mine at 25000 km. Got the new set for 1675. What would be the labour cost.
Total cost as estimated by service centre guy was around ₹2600(spares + labour charge + tax)

I gave up on the service center people. Doing it from a renowned engineer he is a perfect grease monkey on re, Harleys, kawasaki and KTM type bikes. Just wanted the labour quote from people who did the job locally.Originally posted by HD_Rider View PostIt's around ₹800

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
It shouldn't be more than what I quoted. But then again, like you said guy is renowned and works on big capacity motorbikes so can't really say anything on that.Originally posted by roadd3m0n View PostI gave up on the service center people. Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Hello Riders,
I am new here, could you please suggest some good tyres for TB 350(2015)? Have done 27k on stock MRF tyres. I feel these are not so grippy for mud roads and during rains.
Please suggest dual purpose or off-road tyres which have good grip in rain.
Thanks in advance

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Hi all,
Today i gave my bike for 5th (12000kms) service. My complaints were front suspension oil leakage and chain noise due to loose chain.
This is the bill i got. Is this normal or i am charged for sometime unwanted?
What are these items?
1. Bush chain stay
2. Why is fork overhaul done?
3. Why are wheel bearings changed?
4. Rocker cover

The do charge hefty. Find an expert mechanic. My expenses have gradually reduced on servicing.Originally posted by ponbaarathi View PostHi all,

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Bro if u can wait for sometime, u can checkout for Bridgestone tyres. Heard from a co rider that Bridgestone is launching tyres that match our specs. Try searching for news online.Originally posted by [email protected] View PostI will surely check both brands. Thank you!

That would be great news! We have very few options in market for our tyre spec.Originally posted by roadd3m0n View PostBro if u can wait for sometime, u can checkout for Bridgestone tyres. Heard from a co rider that Bridgestone is launching tyres that match our specs. Try searching for news online.
Hope Michelin also release similar tyres for TB.
