Short for catalytic converter. They are there for emission norms. Sole purpose is to convert some of the hazardous emissions into relatively non-hazardous gases using some catalystOriginally posted by meherdawlekar View PostContribute to the environment.

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
Thanks for correcting me, I got hole dia mixed up!!Originally posted by kb100 View Postihave both the cbz and star parts cataloge , only the jets were changed, also the initial models before 2000 came with the larger holed exhaust ,the 2000 onwards one came with the smaller holes,
I think it was around 2000 that catcons were being implemented in 2 wheelers, and folks who were riding around that time might have noticed the changes in bikes exhausts like the splendor , kinetic Honda y2k, rx135 5 spd etc..

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
I owned 2000 model, bought second hand 3 years ago, its a kick start model and that kick lever is way much hard to kick start, is this common with old gen cbz because i have checked with star model and they have smooth kick, my knee started to give pain now.Big Power Comes With Big Responsibility

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
Hi I found this steel braided brake line on Amazon, have anyone tried this? It enhances the bite and feel of the front brake.

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
i doubt that will server any purpose. the actual hose works absolutely fine plus investing into a steel braided line wont give a huge braking improvement. rather than working on a better brake pad would serve a better purpose.Originally posted by ashishrsa View PostI haven't used it. I was wondering if anyone in this thread have used it or the Steel braided lines from Bajaj Pulsar 220 or KTM, and since no one responded to the original post I think no-one has used it."A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."
