Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
60kmph at 4000rpm? Are you sure the meters are working fine? If I recall properly mine used to do that speed at around 5500rpm.
Its absolutely fine to occasionally thrash the bike to the top speed though not so fine if you do on roads with speed limits :PContribute to the environment.

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
AFAIK, yes the spoke models have the same wheels, plate and hub. Even the old Hero Honda Achiever uses the same wheels.Originally posted by motociclista.8 View PostIs the front wheel hub same for CBZ (disc brake) and old model Unicorn?[My Motorcycles]

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
depends on the model, you need one which accepts an adapter plate , the old cbz, splendor, passion ,ambition and achiever uses the front hub design with the adapter plate, any one of them will fitOriginally posted by motociclista.8 View PostIs the front wheel hub same for CBZ (disc brake) and old model Unicorn?Kawasaki KB100/enduro/125 substitute parts list http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/508615-post105.html

i've also changed the following:
1mm oversize piston
increased compression ratio
New camshaft
New valves
Head porting
New timing chain
New timing chain pads
Custom exhaust pipe
Aftermarket exhaust

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
To increase compression u can either use a goetze piston with a slightly higher top or could resurface the base(bottom part sitting on the crankcase) of the cylinder portion to few mm's. But downside is that the timing chain tends to get looser and needs to be tensioned regularly and properly.Originally posted by rawat97 View PostHow you have increased compression ratio..please provide some details.thanks

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
The models prior to 1998 had 105. To increase fuel efficiency its been changed to 102. Take the jet to spares shop and try finding a similar jet. It must be keihen carburetor. Star models had mikuni. Dont overtighten the jet. U may damage the threads.Originally posted by Tush11 View PostHello guys,i own a 2001 model blue cbz ,i have fully restored the bike, but now the problem rises, the pilot fuel screw has no effect turning in or out,the ideal doesnt change, and the plugs are sooty black, the stock pilot jet is #35,do i need a leaner pilot jet#33 may be 32,and the main jet is #102,the manual says#105,please help
