Congrats! One more green to the club, welcome!

Today I fixed everything which I got from Japan - decals, rim tapes, everything A few pictures:

A 'ZX-R' sticker on the tailcover, something which I wanted to get for a long time!

'Ninja' Sticker on the front cowl. I was originally thinking to fix that on the other tailcover, but it would have been a overkill. So it looks good here!

An Alarm sticker on the tank for miscreants!

A small portion of paint had chipped off my exhaust pipe after my long India trip, so I debated between spraying the whole portion with heat resistant Thermdyne paint or putting a heat resistant sticker. I saw these carbon fibre like exhaust stickers in Japan so I fixed them on half of the pipe. In retrospect, I should have bought two rolls and covered the entire stock exhaust with this sticker. Seems to be holding well - after sticking them on, I rode for around 40 mins or so at high revs and it ain"t deshaping/peeling. Have a look - now my exhaust looks a cross between stock and a slip on!

    Green Japanese rim tapes:

My new Xena XX6 lock. Works perfectly now - the earlier XZZ6 was a waste of money.

Fixed titanium finish allen bolts and perforated blue spacers on my hugger.

    Some decals:

Thanks Bro. Honestly, when I saw the real carbon fibre bits (hugger/cowl/number plate/etc), there was a long battle between my brain (which told me to buy) and my hand (which was supposed to fish out my credit card). Unfortunately, my hand won the battle and I came back with these stickers only!

Actually I did not find those OEM sticker sets in the store and I was too lazy to order them from the Kawasaki dealership while I was there.

Bluevolt, fantastic stuff. I definitely need to get those green tail panels and the stickers.
Did the rim tape come with an applicator?
I got some Yamaha green rim tape today, but I think I should get it done from someone who knows his stuff.

Anyway, gave the bike a wash today using ArmorAll Wash and Wax, does a decent job. Also applied the Tank pad.

Hey thanks, buddy. These rim tapes were curved pre-cuts pasted on a A3 cardboard, so I did not use the applicator. Used my hands and cloth to rub it on - I messed up the overlays on the first rim tape piece (1 rim takes four pieces), but then it was smooth sailing from there.

Yes, you should get the green tail covers and that sticker! The bike looks much bigger with green covers.

Did you have to remove the wheels?

Nope, just have to move the bike back and forward to get the wheel in position.

Thanks dude! Actually my original intention of buying the exhaust sticker was to just cut a thin strip and use it only at the end of the pipe where my paint had chipped off. When I set doing that, I thought I might as well stick the entire thing on the exhaust.

Personally, I would have liked it much better if I could have covered the entire exhaust and not do a 'half-plate' thing

I might get a real carbon fibre exhaust sleeve soon and use thermal paste to bond it to the pipe. I almost bought it in Japan, but pulled back because my bank account was already in 'reserve'.
