  • Guys, there is a gap b/w Seat Cowl and panel, but the seat cowl, if fitted properly, is not loose and does not rattles.

I just thought that i would clarify as there was enough talk about it.

If you can share details of the shop as in location, landmark and phone numbers that'll be very helpful.

P.S. Are you in for the ride tomorrow night? Check out the bangalore kadambam G2G thread.
Yup i can defnitely wait till saturday . I want to see a NINJA in flesh ...

I jus checked out the place today , was passing through C.M.H road , the landmark to the place would be adarsha theatre ... take the immediate left onto C.M.H road ( pretty messed up due to metro work ) and about 50metres on the R.H.S is the shop... It looks more like a helmet place , hopefully will have all the necessary colours n stuff when we land up there

can't make the ride tomorrow night ... got a darn exam to attend and my parents won't be too happy if i take off at night .

          • hey guys thanks for the advice on the seat cowl.
I went to the pbk showroom (kanjurmarg, mumbai) today to collect my papers they told me that 1st service should be done at 1000kms after that u can rip it.
And after that it should be serviced every 5000 kms. I read somewhere in this thread that it should be serviced at 800 n then at 1600kms.
            I'm really confused.

Consult your service booklet and stick to it; first one is @ 1000K; then 6000K; third one i do not remember but should be @ 12000K....

I think you are confusing the break in with the service interval...break in 4Krpm till 800 km and 6krpm till 1600... service is at 1000, 6000 and then at 6000km intervals...

Bajaj had organized an event - sort of a G2G of all the ninja riders on this Sunday and also test rides for interested ppl (who have to register for the test rides).

Just got off the phone with Janakiram (manager - probiking, blore) and the event is cancelled as most ninja owners are not available.

Test rides are going to be conducted on the NICE road as per schedule.

Please call Shivkumar or Janki (080-4165-7777) and register for test rides. 30 ppl already registered according to him and limited entries available. The test rides are free, contrary to what i heard earlier.

The ride is on a 5km stretch and other vehicles will be cordoned off as per Mr. J.
