May be because of good power to weight ratio., RX won..
That is one heck of a run... imagine having almost half the c.c. as well as half the number of cylinders and one gear less ... the Ninja guy, if he has not experienced 2 strokes before must have been devastated by this run...

    • when RDs can run sbk timings during the drag meets organized by autocar, so this shouldnt really come as a surprise. But none the less great performance from the rX. That means the RX is running a sub 6 second time for 0-100 kmph, which is amazing!

      • Tomorrow being the day for 1000th NINJA celebration in Bangalore, i took my bike from PBK without any repairs being done.

The parts will be ordered but prasanna told me that by that time i can ride my bike..

I am posting some pics of the scratches in the green headlamp cowling for which i am thinking whether some stickering or

paint job can be done or not.. I am doubtful for that.. As replacing it is costing me 4400 bucks...

Do let know your opinions.. and if some stickering is possible.. a place to buy and the price for the same..
        RIP Marco

        • ^^ aww , those scratches look bad ... you can customize your own design and get it traced out , or else any stickering shop or number plate shops in an around the area have computerized stickering .... they can help you out .
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

FZ16 headlight assembly with projector and angel eye for sale .

Sorry to read about your slow-motion wala fall.
4.4k is too steep a price for me. If I was you, I would live with those scratches, even if I couldn't cover them up with paint/ stickering.
So long as the fairing isn't cracked, I would not replace it.

Check with Cherry Agencies, or some reputed car accessories shop for touch-up paint in lime-green colour. They might have it by now, thanks to the Ninja 250R.

Not worth replacing the entire cowling. If you are there tomorrow, I'll have a look at it - if it is not too bad, I can touch it up with a primer base, Ninja green paint and then a clear coat.

                      • Anyone knows where to source the Bridgestone BT 45 (130/17/70) tyres in India? I saw them in Japan a few days ago and they looked huge - the 130 looks like a 150 because of the huge sidewall flares (outwards of the rim). Definitely looked bigger than my Pirelli Sport Demons.

Last time I heard, Bridgestone only sells cage tyres in India. The news is that they are coming soon with motorcycle tyres.

                          • Went for the 1000 Ninja celebration in Bangalore. It was pretty well organized and a lot of fun. 30 odd Ninjas on the roads of Bangalore really attracted every eyeball in the vicinity.

Was great to meet Aditya, Alok, Bluevolt and Killer_instinct . We should ride together sometime guys.

Kudos to Bajaj and Khivraj to host such a wonderful event and for making us feel special.

Everyone met at the Probiking showroom, then there was a ride from Indiranagar to Whitefield through MG road.

Then everyone assembled at the hotel Zuri where there was a small ceremony where everyone got a Tshirt, shared their experiences, had a short DIY session with the Service head and then had lunch.

A great event to know fellow Ninja owners.
