Thanks buddy!Originally posted by A-mod View PostWhen going from Apte road towards JM (the in-between wala road)...there's Naturals to your left and Pizza hut to your right. Keep moving straight from the signal right ahead of you. Continue (ahead of the bridge to your right and Joshi wada to your left)...Sai Auto is to your right (of course you'll have to go ahead till the signal and take a u-turn to get there). I was there last week to pick my RC book...This is their office, but the Ninja gets serviced at their branch on Paud road (near SNDT cllg, on the opposite side of the road, near Dashabhuja Ganapati Mandir)...
I have added the location as favourite in my GPS map installed in my mobile phone.

How many of you are experiencing numbness (in right /left hand) after you are riding in for more than 30 min or more?
I am getting the numbness in the right hand at rpm ranges between 9k to 11k, i suppose some vibration issues...
Any ideas?RIP Marco

It has more to do with your posture on the bike. If you donot let your wrist take your complete upper body weight, you will not have the numbness. The weight of the upper body will compress the palm pads and decrease the blood supply and nerve endings hence the numbness. Another way would be buy a good pair of padded gloves.Originally posted by vkuchhal View PostHow many of you are experiencing numbness (in right /left hand) after you are riding in for more than 30 min or more?

The 9 -11 k range is when your vehicle is reaching near its upper limit hence vibrations are to be expected. For mental health..

you will have to replace the rim and ninja rim is very expensive.Originally posted by n_venki_2001 View PostMy Ninja ran over a big pot hole at a speed of around 60 kmph. As it was around 9 PM at night, couldn't spot the hole until the bike went thudding over it. I continued the ride. After some time noticed that rear tyre is loosing pressure, so took it to a puncture shop. At that shop, the person pointed out that the rim has got bent. Since, it's tubeless tyre, air is leaking through the bent.
Any ideas, how much damage in terms of money it would cost? Could the bent in rim be rectified or would have to get the entire rim replaced? Any one faced similar issue?M3:15

The rear rim costs 23K. get it replaced under insurance you should get 90-100% for the rim.Originally posted by xionite View Postdunno how much a N250R rim costs.
if the "bend" is just a minor one u can get it fixed...
if u still have an "air leakeage" problem after the repair work...
the most cost effective remedy would be to add a tube.

I need to re-work on that , if that is the case.Originally posted by Itzli View PostIt has more to do with your posture on the bike. But I do not think that it might be because of the posture... have done around 5k kms on the bike and the problem is occuring in the last 2k kms..
If it had been the posture , then both hands should get numb.
And i do not think that the bike vibrates in any rpm range... as it is the "kawasaki ninja" and not a pulsar or hero honda. I have done a speed of 170 km/hr but did not feel any vibration... the bike is dead stable.RIP Marco

From what I understand, it still might be the body posture. After riding for more than 30 minutes usually we are in cruising mode. We subconsciously tend to relax a bit and hence tend to rest our arms on the handlebars. This causes pressure on forearms and wrists which may lead to numbness due to reduced blood supply as Itzli has pointed out.Originally posted by vkuchhal View PostI need to re-work on that , if that is the case.

At 11 -13K rpm, there is more vibration as compared to say, 5k or 8K rpm. But it does not bother you or cause discomfort.

claim insurance and get the rim replaced. then repair the damaged rim and keep it as a spare. in future it can come in handy. can you post some pictures of the damage ?Originally posted by n_venki_2001 View PostMy Ninja ran over a big pot hole at a speed of around 60 kmph. I used to have pain in my right wrist and right hands triceps. Though there is no wrist pain now my right triceps still pain at times specially after long drives. One thing to note is pain is not while riding but later after an hour or so.
I feel this has to be due to riding position or may be handle alignmentBehind every successful man .. there is a MACHINE
