Yeah it sure looks big!! It costs 125 quid (8.9K) here in UK for a pair of Bridgestone whereas the Pirelli sport demons cost around 163 (11.5K).
BTW if u check-in tyres (during flights) for ur personal use would you have to pay duty on it??? Not that I can find anything cheap here!!

Was great to meet Aditya, Alok, Bluevolt and Killer_instinct . We should ride together sometime guys.

Kudos to Bajaj and Khivraj to host such a wonderful event and for making us feel special.
Nice to meet you, Sammy! Look forward to rides soon - get that run-in over pronto!

Not sure whether airlines allow automotive parts - it is always better to check with them before you fly. And the customs is always a dicey part - it is purely discretionary!

      • ^^ the duty is 32.5 % on the invoice, and if they feel you have made an undervalued invoice, they can confirm pricing themselves.

Interesting!! Now is that an area, or a city/ town?

@Bangalore Ninja riders: Post some pics from the meet. Or atlest pics of the goodies

                    My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Well i do remember seeing it..I think its on the way to Yokohama, if am correct. That was three years back though
And i definitely thought that the kawi motorcycles were built there. Thanks for the clarification. Moreover on thinking aloud it would be too expensive for Kawi to manufacture motorcycles right inside Tokyo!

I used to work in the same world trade building in marunouchi which has Kawasaki head quartered. And now i feel honoured to have a product of theirs

Yes, it is on the way to Yokohama, you are spot on. Kawasaki makes their stuff near Kobe, actually. Their factory makes Ship engines, bullet trains and other heavy duty stuff, among other things.

You worked in front of the Tokyo railway station - that is something. That station is probably the largest in the world. I have to walk at least a few kilometers inside the station every time I have to change connections.
