Need some advice on the fault that xena is having.
I have the XENA X6 alarm and have been using it for more than 6 months now.
Today it started behaving abnormally..
I installed it on my bike front disc and left the bike.. the Xena got armed as usual with a single beep.. then after 5 mins it starting buzzing abnormally without any one touching the bike..
I opened it and refitted it... it got armed again and this time again after sometime.. it buzzed off and kept on arming itself and then buzzing off again and again...
What can be the problem... any clues experts?RIP Marco

The instruction booklet does mention that the alarm triggers when the battery is low... indicating that it needs to be replaced.Originally posted by bluevolt View PostCould be low battery. Typical use is 8 months or so.
Try replacing the battery. I'm positive this issue will disappear.

But i read it somewhere that in case of low battery it will give smaller beeps... as a symbol of a normal battery going down... like the volume reducing as it beeps..
But in my case, when the alarm is buzzing ,.. the sound is loud and clear...
IS their any other way to check for battery low?RIP Marco

This clearly explains the signs of low battery.
You could also try cleaning the reflector plate and the infrared sensors with a moist earbud.

My decission
Finally after months of slowly reading this exhaustive thread whenever i got the time, i come to the last page today. Thanks, for everyone's contribution.
When i first started reading this thread i knew 250cc was too less a bike and a green was definitely a big NO.
So much changed in the past few months, fell in love with this bike and still wonder how the color started to appeal more to me.
Started having dreams of the bike every single day and used to log-in just to have a look at the bike.
Everyone around me started thinking i have gone mad and no one encouraged my wish to own the bike.
I researched on a riding gear and even placed and order for the same. It should be reaching me anytime.
The only final thing i had to do was to reach the showroom, see the bike, ride the bike, hear...
But my exhaustive schedules were keeping me far away from the probiking showroom in Adyar, Chennai.
Almost 3-4 Sundays i drove past the showroom just to have a look at the bike through the window.
My craving to own the bike increased with time, though i was not even finding the time to go to the showroom.
Finally the New year had the answer. On 1/1/11 i found time to leave work early and reach the showroom directly.
It was a mixed feeling, was cautiously entering the showroom filled with the fear of whether it will be or will it not be.
A question i found the answer by the end of that day.
And it was shocking.
