I got the same one for my Black Ninja and added up with a few Kawasaki monster energy Stickers. The Tankpad is good and gives the bike a nice look too...

help on ninja tyre pressure
how frequently you need to check tyre pressure on your ninja ? once in a week , once in a month or more ?
any way to find out whether the tyre needs air other than using a tyre pressure guage.Mountain biking on impulse with my wife and our bike goes down in water

I get it done on every tank full( may be 20 days or so)...
To check ... whenever i go over a speed bump.. and if i get a hard jump meaning my pressure is good.. and if after few days when the pressure needs to be redone.. that same speed bump seems to be softer.. telling me the the tyre pressure in gone down...

Since my "slow motion fall" , i think i have lost some confidence while riding...
May be a part of SR (survival reaction).. Like especially on turns which have a bit of mud and sand.. i ride pretty slow..
How do i overcome that? Has any one of you experienced that before.
Another question :For a change today i went for ride to NICE road... A straight road to give a complete twist of wrist... but the bike did not went above 143km/hrs... do not know whether this is again a part of SR or need some service changes to be done...RIP Marco

This is a first reaction level for anyone who falls...It had happened to me...but after a few times, it never bothered me ..so relax it is normal..only thing is please be careful ,and if you have a fall(GOD FORBID) take it in your stride. The first few hours are the most critical time,...both for survival ,getting over the shock, and do whatever you have to.Because in 12 hrs the body will become stiff and all the pains and aches will start and incapacitate you.Originally posted by vkuchhal View PostSince my "slow motion fall" , i think i have lost some confidence while riding...

after dropping the ninja once i am extra careful on bad roads. better to loose some confidence( or overconfidence may i say) especially when you are riding a high performance bike.Originally posted by vkuchhal View PostSince my "slow motion fall" , i think i have lost some confidence while riding...

ninja tyres grip is poor esp on bad roads with mud/sand/water/etc. it is better to ride slow.
keep your SR (survival instinct)intact. it will help in the long run, esp when you graduate to litre class bikes.
here are some pictures of the Rajays saddle bag on my ninja. after a lot of trial/error and some help from blue volt finally got a method of fixing them to my satisfaction.
blue volt has used these bags already(extensively) and best person to give a feed back
I used them for 200 kms till date. max speed tested 140 kmph with high cross winds on chennai / bangalore highway (100 kms) and another 100 kms vellore to arani via arcot road with a max speed of 120 kms.
The bags were purchased from Bachoo motors mumbai.
bags are holding well and tailor made for speed. but the zippers are suspect. you will have to handle them with care else they may come off.Mountain biking on impulse with my wife and our bike goes down in water

checked tyre pressure today. The problem is you are at the mercy of the tyre pressure gauge installed at the pump. i have seen that each guage of these guys reads differently and not calibrated.Originally posted by vkuchhal View PostI get it done on every tank full( may be 20 days or so)...

i think lab chemical shops may have high precision gauge. the trick is to adapt them by fitting suitable nozzle.
any one knows where to buy precision tyre pressure gauge in india ?Mountain biking on impulse with my wife and our bike goes down in water

I would strongly disagree with this. Having attended track school, I have removed most of my Survival reactions and this has made me a much better rider.Originally posted by harikeshpk View Postkeep your SR (survival instinct)intact. it will help in the long run, esp when you graduate to litre class bikes.
Survival Reactions make you do all sort of wrong things. I will list these in a later post as I have to catch a flight in a few minutes.sigpicI feel like Clark Kent on the streets riding the Pulsar, On the track.. with my Ninja.. I feel like Superman.

Seems like you're talking about the guy on the front-right.Originally posted by whizzkid_ram View PostI do also see a guy riding his Ninja with the headlamps off!

It seems the lights are off due to the camera angle. If you look carefully, you'll see a tinge of yellow (light) in the middle of his bike's headlamp.
My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
