Unfortunately since the countours of different bikes vary, there ain't a universal cutting guide. You'd have to create one yourself, and here's how:

For my case it is 1000 bucks and oriental insurance person told that i will not get a penny on that...
I have. For my bike, the PBK had given a very lavish estimate of around 25K (This included a fairing change). However, the fairing had a minor scratch and was not approved. The final bill was 11K, out of which 8.5 was approved by Oriental.

        • @vkuchhal: That part needs some lacquer coating on it to make it a finished paint.

Missed out on the left indicator. Also, RVM means the RVM stem has to be changed not just the mirror glass.

Does different officers for the same oriental insurance company , give different sorts of approval..

For my case, the insurance officer seems to be strict as for the parts repairs they are offering me 60% or so( like my breakdown charges are 350 and he is only 200 will be given, for indicator replacement charge of 350 they said . i will get 150 only..)

Is their a way out, please guide..
                    RIP Marco

If you remember, I only painted and not apply a clear coat.

They cannot specify how much they will pay you. The inspector can only approve what needs to be changed and what not. Whatever needs to be changed will be refunded back to you based on whether its glass, fibre or metal. The percentages are fixed and a function of some parameters. This will be mentioned in the policy document.
