Attached are a couple of pics with the saddle bags on my Ninja.Originally posted by bluevolt View PostMust be coastal Maharashtra facing the Arabian sea - the most beautiful and pristine coastline of the Indian Peninsula. I was there last weekend, some untouched pictures...Originally posted by malliah View PostTried the cortech tri bag on the Ninja, fits well except that you need to ensure that the bags do not rest on the indicators. The tail bag is sufficient for an overnight trip and the saddle bags should add a few more days of luggage space. Got them from Ridersdiscount.com. Took about a month to reach but came well packed and no custom duties.
Here are a few pics.
Thanx guys... between the three options - Cortech, rJays & Cramster, that was as detailed an info that one would need... the pics were awesome... looking at Cortech / RJays as of now.. seem to retain their shape quite well
Oh man... not online too... get this atleast twice a day every day that i take the bike out for a ride.Originally posted by KARIZMATIC View Posti know this is a weird question.......

that depends on how much you twist the throttle. it gives around 27 to 30 kpl with the speedo between 60-80 kmph top gear on highways, with about 20 to 23 kpl if you push it to 120-140 (highway ) city mileage will be around 23 to 24 kpl again depends on the traffic.Originally posted by KARIZMATIC View Posti know this is a weird question.......

Basically, it depends on how hard you rev it...
so true, the petrol pump guys nearby my place ask me the same question every single time I go and fill up my Green Devil...Originally posted by pc2211 View PostOh man... not online too... get this atleast twice a day every day that i take the bike out for a ride.

hee hee... mini stampedes can be expected everywhere actually... during my ride for the Kerala G2G people put forward these comment too on seeing me in my riding gear and the Ninja, "are you going for racing?, Is this bike for display?"...

Yes, most of the bikes now come with the stalk as a replacement unit.Originally posted by Hyperion View PostMissed out on the left indicator. Also, RVM means the RVM stem has to be changed not just the mirror glass.
So how much do these parts cost? I'm interested in knowing about the RVM, indicator, etc.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Hi Guys,
I think my battery's going. If I try to get the bike started after 2-3 days, it makes the typical "krrrr.." sound and then nothing happens. I have to try the starter button a few times to get it started.
Should I get it changed ? (I guess the battery is YTX9-BS).

I went to Bajaj..they checked the voltage/other stuff - said that it looks like a bad battery and they'll have to do a report based on a 24 hr charging or something and then initiate the process (send report-get an approval from someone higher up - source battery - get it to mumbai) for change under warranty (which would then take another week or so).
However, I need to transport my bike to Chennai this weekend and I can't wait a week for their process to complete (which would take atleast 2 weeks going by my experience with them). Hence the query on whether i should change it asap. They're all superstars, even the one at the back

IIRC the OEM battery for the ninja costs around 10k. Best to change it under warranty (as per process) unless you have spare cash lying around and the free warranty replacement doesnt matter.Originally posted by rainy'or'rainey View PostI can't wait a week for their process to complete (which would take atleast 2 weeks going by my experience with them).
