If you have it happening at times other than when you are decelerating, then yes, you need to talk to Prasanna.

I like the sound though. :-)
I like the sound too. The popping is barely audible and can be heard only when revving slightly in idle. When i am riding its not noticeable at all. Maybe an aftermarket exhaust would make the pop sound more pronounced.

Was just concerned if its OK or if the bike is running lean.

I don't thing the quake would affect the availability of the Green. The reason could be something else, coz only a few parts come from Japan.

Most of it is from Thailand.

you can use unleaded fuel in the ninja without any problems. but my question is whether ordinary petrol in the pumps is leaded or unleaded ? can any one quote any authentic source/report that leaded petrol is no longer sold in Indian Pumps..?

The normal fuel in the bunk is unleaded, and leaded fuel is banned and henceforth not supplied throughout india..

heads don't turn much for the black(mine is black as i don't want any one to get distracted with my bike). it may be worth the wait to go for green.

thanks issue is clarified. you can use any unleaded petrol.. means any petrol sold in india on your ninja.one has to ensure that it is not adulterated. but the reccomended octane rating is 91 octane or higher.

Buy the green, since you already have/had a black R15.

This is the exact same confusion i was facing when i wanted to book my ninja.

The paint job on the black is excellent. The glossy finish is awesome. The green however is loud and screams for attention without sounding desperate, while the black is understated and passes off as just another bike.... almost.

Go with your heart. If you can handle the attention (and actually enjoy it) go with the green. If you want to keep a low profile, black it is. But remember, maintaining the sheen on the black is very difficult. Scratches and nicks are very easily noticeable on the black and its a cumbersome job to maintain the finish and shine for many years.

The green also has bits of black, so best of both worlds.

                              +1 to Sarvajit's suggestion.

@F.I : heart says green mate ! ninja IS green !!
@ sarvajit : i was thinking among the same lines as this is my second bike and this will set the trend for all my future 2-wheelers .
                                p.s - i'm keeping the R15 for daily use
@aditya : the paint job is brilliant on the black ! and i find maintaining my R15 hard already ! wish there was some way to make this choice easy !
