At any given time, there are 3-4 crashed Ninja's lying at Indiranagar. Not from xbhp, I believe.

This bike made me feel like I was a pro the very moment I started showing it corners even at slow speeds. Just invites your confidence. Though a novice at riding, all those doubtful thoughts were thrown down. Riding this bike like an amateur becomes so perfunctory a task, you start thinking about how your new girlfriend should look, even while taking corners at pretty high speeds.
Still done only around 30km and I give it the veneration unlike for any other bike I've ridden which otherwise I didn't have the confidence to ride so well so quickly. Phew! What a machine this.
          Congrats for your ride
It is really an awesome machine.
I wanted to know the bike you got is 2010 manufactured model or 2011. As, at probiking they told me that it takes around 3 months in transit to reach finally to showrooms. So,is your bike Nov or Dec manufactured model or a 2011 manufactured? And I think this issue is with green ones, black 2011 is available now.

          • [QUOTE=n_aditya;606422]Black is a pain to maintain. GF wants black? Go with green and ask her to buy a black ninja. Best of both worlds and both of you will be happy.

lol ! somehow i have a feeling i'll end up with the green ! thanks
Stock is boring , power is everything .

Wait a bit. Once the bikes hit the roads and when we get to hear from the owners we'll let you know.

Be ready for a longish wait, considering the delivery time and running in that needs to be completed for the new honda's.

the fuel injected 33 horses ninja is going to clip the wings of the cbr 250. the comparisons of the 2 bikes on most of the sites are between the carb version ninja and cbr which is FI, where some advantage results for the cbr. ABS brakes may be lot in theory, but the draw back is once you are used to ABS, you simply become good for nothing as far as braking is concerned(without ABS). this is most true for a first timer rather than an experienced rider.

braking is a delicate art to be learned from experience, feel, reaction to road conditions, traffic situations etc. ABS takes away a major part of that. this may be my old school thought used to non abs over the years. may be in a couple of years ABS may become standard like disc brakes on todays bike. may be ninja should also come out with an ABS option.

MC... welcome to Gods own ninja group. buy the best of riding gear too to go along with your green rocket.

                        • Switched my headlamps (again) to PIAA's. Used them last night for the first time - great spread and reach of light. Not white light, but just seems a much more powerful version of the stock headlamps.

Cost me $100 a pair, so they better last up!

more than the lasting part i may think of how well they go with the electrical's of the bike, like a full overnight ride, where both lamps are on and your reflectors are not browned out.

These are not HID's, just powerful lamps @ 12V 55W. Well within the stock specs.
