For the above, a steering damper would help in eliminating the mini tank slap issue.

It is really an awesome machine.
I wanted to know the bike you got is 2010 manufactured model or 2011. As, at probiking they told me that it takes around 3 months in transit to reach finally to showrooms. So,is your bike Nov or Dec manufactured model or a 2011 manufactured? And I think this issue is with green ones, black 2011 is available now.
        It's a 2011 make buddy.

ABS brakes may be lot in theory, but the draw back is once you are used to ABS, you simply become good for nothing as far as braking is concerned(without ABS). this is most true for a first timer rather than an experienced rider.

In the days to come, we (Ninja owners) are going to face a lot of flak from people who do not know the A,B,C of motorcycles and engines, who will continue to make such senseless comparisions between the Ninja and the CBR. The stubborn argument about the Ninja being 26 P.S, a few pages earlier, was also an example of this.

CBR owners would like to think that all Ninja owners are fools for buying a bike for double the cost at which, they bought the CBR and some knowingly and some unknowingly will try to prove that the CBR is as good as the Ninja.

My advise to all the fellow Ninja owners is to smile and use a 'one-liner' I heard somewhere 'If I have to tell it..you won't understand'! and leave it at that..since we have the better bike, its only justified that they win the argument. Everyone gets something!!
^+26 Ps. No, ^+33 bhp...No ^+26 Ps......I mean starting from the name, it sounds better - Ninja, unlike CBR.

Riding is a way of life. Sometimes, it might also be a way of giving life. So Ride safe. In both contexts.

I had the same problem with my bike. Got the bike for serivce couple times and even I was given the same Crap from pro-biking about break pads and stuff.

But later when I asked them to check the forks, they got to know it was a little OFF/loose. Fixed it and now it runs without any problem.

I personally don't sweat on this much . The only thing I tell them is; Optra, Cruz, Laura, (I think Superb), Merc C class, BMW - 3 series, Audi A4 == All have 2 litre diesel engines... but....

As mentioned by DK, is that the way to make 19L or is there any other simpler way

                        • new 250 cc from yamaha

april bike issue has come out with pictures and details of the new 250 cc yamaha for indian market. now it is a clear battle between the honda cbr and yamaha. the best part is ninja is no where in the picture, and we ninja owners will have to find a new bike to compare our ninjas with and there is no such bike in our country.

so ninja is a cut above the rest of the pack of 250 cc bikes announced by honda , yamaha, and bajaj. Ninja will remain " Ninja "

                            • Finally got the Rim (Mag wheel) of the rear tyre replace from PBK Yesterday.

                              Cost incurred: Rs. 26280 total

Also got the Puig frame slider fitted from prasanna.

Cost incurred :Rs. 0 (Thanks to prasanna, as in spite of a very busy and hectic schedule, he managed to spare some time and got those fitted)

Rode back to my home but found that the front brakes were not working.. But i remember in this same visit , i asked prasanna whether their was a requirement to change the brake pad and he told that they are perfect to run another 2k kms+ . So I was shocked as to why they were not working.
Managed with the rear though. Came back to the home and practiced braking in the society.. still not effective.

Had a word with Adi on that, and he suggested me that , it might be that while polishing or cleaning the PBK people might have left some grease/oily polish, so he adviced me to clean the rotor with diesel first and then with shampoo solution. Thank you Adi.. did clean it multiple time and after riding and practicing braking many time , finally the machine has gained it razor shape braking .

Lesson learnt: Always check the vehicle after a service with a test ride.
                              RIP Marco

@VKuchal: The Mag replacement was not covered by the Insurance company?
26k is a huge amount. (Atleast for me )
