Yea its a carburetor one and I think the Jet kit wont work for us ( the FI version ). So the only option left is power commander. is it ??

I am sure this will clear many of our doubts. Check it out guys amazing stuff.

This US mag seems to have given a really poor review for the N250. Probably Ga ga over Honda.

Twist the accelerator and a Tsunami of G-Forces hit you, reaching 100 kmph in a matter of seconds, all 33 horses and 22 Nm of torque giving you what modern science would call an orgasm.

              • Got my first service done . The guy there insisted on using the DTSI high performance oil as suggested in the manual. May be i will change to Motul later on. But the bike feels awesome after the first service and oil change may be psychological . The air filter was pretty dirty, so there is a definite performance boost. Has anybody tried doing basic maintenance at home, looks pretty simple........... is it advisable ?

I really don't think the DTSI oil is high performance but there's nothing wrong with it either. But I can guarantee that it won't last even half of the claimed 10k kays..

You can do the basic stuff at home as long as you're a DIY person - Its a great boding exercise, you'll feel good after something as small as chain lubing. Go for it

Okay then probably i will get the oil changed changed after another 500 Kms i guess. Saw the mechanic doing stuff today was pretty easy and the manual is pretty comprehensive. Although i was pretty satisfied by their service.

                    • One month with the Ninja 250R!

By today it has been exactly one month I got my long awaited Ninja 250R
Even though I don't take my bike to office and use it only for weekend spins, successfully completed the 1000kms mark last week and got the bike serviced yesterday...

Its true that one will truly cherish the run-in period... Riding the bike just for the sake of munching the miles at a controlled speed was an awesome experience

Got my DSG tank pad [Keiti Kawasaki Clear Tankpad TKW-506C] today and just sticked it to the tank. Looks beautiful
                      Attached the pics for reference.

Looks very simple indeed but we need to have all the correct tools, a paddock stand firstly
Even i am planning for DIY on atleast air filter cleaning and engine oil change

Still 500kms left for the run-in(6krpm)... I'm at 1100 now
But anyways I'm occasionally taking her upto 8k rpm slowly

On your Black Beauty it will look all Black except for those white touches

Edit: As per Harsha's request changed Black girl to Black Beauty
                          Indeed sounds more apt

occasional burts are not a problem :P...
calling my baby as black girl is a bit odd instead "BLACK BEAUTY" is more apt ahem!ahem!
