I'm not going to take apart that video here, it'd waste too many people's time. I'd just like to point out, however, that I haven't promised any power gains to the gentleman concerned.

Also, I hope you've noticed that the test was under ideal conditions, and I've recommended the additives for his trip to Spiti. Which to you might be ideal conditions - but I think otherwise.

Also, even if their claims are right, 10% of 33PS is 3PS. On my bike, that'll be 3 extra PS at 11,000rpm to help push 270kg. Do you really think that's enough of a gain in power-to-weight?

Try a little bit of context before rubbishing some advice next time.

Whoa dude. Why are you taking it so personally? Chill out !!!

All i said was avoid using it as octane boosters can cause more damage than good. I have used octane boosters and injector cleaners on my car and it caused quite a bit of knocking in the engine.

Let alone the power bump, i'm not even commenting on that part and i didn't comment on it in my initial post too. These products can cause damage to the valve springs etc. is what i was conveying.

P.S. If you think my posts are out of context, please feel free to report them.

Sorry, myself. In hindsight, I have overreacted, haven't I? Apologies again.

Just that I'm thinking about him buying fuel from Pappu Paanwalla in the village and at that point I think he'll need the injector cleaner etc.

Twist the accelerator and a Tsunami of G-Forces hit you, reaching 100 kmph in a matter of seconds, all 33 horses and 22 Nm of torque giving you what modern science would call an orgasm.

Check this out. These guys supply ECU's to most of the INRC rally cars and they have ECU's for the ninja too. Speak to Karthik and refer my name. He is a good friend of mine and will be able to help in ECU tuning if you require.

Check with Performance Racing Store, Mumbai. They might be able to source a juice box for you.

                      • well guys jardine i got at a grt price from some one i picked it up for 16k compared to tbr and all costing 30k
we did a ride to lonavla few weeks back with around more than 10 ninjas
one had a tbr too but the Jardine sound was preffered by many of them
it is a bit loud but @ high Rpm sounds insane slight midrange does seem better top i did with it was 166 max on palm beach road flat out but the guy behind me said he did a 170 donno if his speedo error or mine
no performance racing doesnt have the juice box nor jardine slip on it yet he has a jardine full system for 30k
before buying bike i was in phuket there they had the Tbr juice box so am keen to
find out here if any one keeps it

Interesting discussions about air filters and ECU a few pages back. Now just to add to it i found this interesting link on web. It gives all the details about the performance upgrade after installing various after market parts and best part it also provided the cost of those parts.

I am sure this will clear many of our doubts. Check it out guys amazing stuff.

Thats a US Spec bike with a carburettor....not too sure whether the same would apply to a FI one. The K&N filter, footpegs, double bubble might be of help thou!
