it's called a buyers market innit.

the Ninja 250R isn't the only victim.

just wait for every cc of bike to be "legally" available in India...

there'll be the crappiest re-sale price tags EVER.

Yeah I guess it will. Thanks Guys for all the info. Its really helpful.

I am really thinking of getting one. But cant think of selling it atleast for 5 Years if I get it. Need to manage a lot of things (financialy) before going for actual buy.

I can understand the drop in price tags, once every cc of bike to be "legally" available in India.

But right now when the N250R is THE premium bike, if the seller has some patience, he can get the price tat he is expecting i guess. All said, it depends on the urgency of the sale and to the extent which seller is ready to compromise.

First of all, watch your language !!!!!

Just because i have a ninja doesnt mean i redline it all the time and neither does it need to redline to stay over 40kmph. Maybe your pulsar needs to be redlined to crack the 40kmph mark.

+1. In my 12k+ kms of riding i have mostly shifted at 9k-10k on the rpm counter. redline shifting happens very rarely.

Well said. One may want to sell off in a hurry but that doesnt mean all ninja's are available so cheap.

            Eshan,
Its a public forum, so i guess, it will be better if your anger ( your gussa on Ninja owners) is a bit low..
You may get warning and also may get banned using harsh language on others.

Kool bro, its better to enjoy the post and put on some nice technical things rather than creating a fuss and be targeted by others for your post. Isn't it ?.

            BTW,
saw a Ninja around Electronic City Area ( Black one ) with a nice After Market Exhaust. I couldn't notice the make, but it was surely a nice one. Gave a thumbs up to him and received the same... ( A nice gesture )

I think it is Justin (@justyhere). He has a black ninja with a Leo Vince slip-on. Been wanting to hear the exhaust note on that one.

It was definitely not his. I know his Ninja quite well..
May be someone else..( Now there are too many of them )

Haha. Sorry dude. You wont see any aftermarket pipes on my ninja. I hate that dirt bike note at high revv's.

I'd rather keep that money aside for a bigger bike and then get some nice pipes on it.

                    for example...
if you lend a friend your Ninja... for just a short 4-5 km ride...
you definitely won't want him upshifting at the redline in every gear.

yes... it won't harm the engine i know... but you still won't want it would you?

now... if you say you won't mind him doing so... then i have no commetns.
I certainly don't mind my friend to redline my ninja. In fact, I tell to whoever is riding it to upshift above 10k.

I know that this is an unexpected answer but if I don't trust the guy to ride it properly, I won't give him my bike

Leo Vince is the decent I have ever heard (in videos). Decent in the sense, not too loud with good tight sound. Let us know after checking the sound..

Not forcing you to go for an aftermarket can but you should hear the sound an akrapovic or a yoshi exhaust. They are more bassy and consistent (well thats what i could make out by going through 15-20 youtube videos). But I do agree that the dirtbikish sound(very prevalent in the two bros exhaust) is very annoying....

I was getting a little bored yesterday since this thread was left completely unupdated.... But things are getting pretty hot today

                            Adi,
I think you should now go for N650R which is soon going to be launched. That way your better half can also come for ride...( I hope you wont mind giving me your N250R in return )

Leo Vince is surely one of the nicest one in N250, but have heard the Two Brother's also. Its just awesome..

Its actually a matter of subject. Few people like the loud beaty note of the aftermarket cans. For me, its the sweet stock sound. There is purr at low rpms and almost SBKish wail at really high revs. It sounds like a multi-cylinder bike on stock. To me , the aftermarket exhausts make the Ninja sound like a normal Indian bike on K&N. Just my opinion.
