BTW,
saw a Ninja around Electronic City Area ( Black one ) with a nice After Market Exhaust. I couldn't notice the make, but it was surely a nice one. Gave a thumbs up to him and received the same... ( A nice gesture )
A blackie, thou not on an aftermarket can, did greet a green Ninja Bro on last weekend (7/8th) on the NICE Road. Any one of the Blore Chaps?
Not forcing you to go for an aftermarket can but you should hear the sound an akrapovic or a yoshi exhaust. They are more bassy and consistent (well thats what i could make out by going through 15-20 youtube videos). But I do agree that the dirtbikish sound(very prevalent in the two bros exhaust) is very annoying....
Well i've seen almost all the video's of the ninja 250 with aftermarket pipes. From the Yoshi to the 2brothers to the arka's to even the GSXR600 pipes. They all sound great at low revv's. I personally loved the M4 exhaust but minus the dirt bike note.
Also most video's are shot inside a garage or within closed spaces so the bassy note is mostly due to the sound bouncing off the walls. It'll sound very different in real
Adi, I think you should now go for N650R which is soon going to be launched. That way your better half can also come for ride...( I hope you wont mind giving me your N250R in return )
I did mention this to my wife. Would love to pick up the 650R but then it makes sense for me to rather wait it out and buy an used one for lesser. Who knows, by then we might have some inline fours in the 600cc range too.

When I mentioned about 650R to my wife, she was quite overwhelmed. Lets see how it goes..Paise waise bacha raha hu, dekhte hain kab tak khareed paaunga..

I think it is Justin (@justyhere). He has a black ninja with a Leo Vince slip-on. Been wanting to hear the exhaust note on that one.
Recently (last weekend) got the Leo Vince (carbon). It comes with 2 db killers, so you basically have 3 options for the bike. The sound is great, though a bit too loud for my liking if used without the db killers.
Haven't tested on a highway yet so can't comment on impact on performance. Though it seems to have adversely impacted the ride on low rpms (only when the bike is cold in the mornings). Has anyone had a similar experience?
Why they did change the spark plugs? Even in the manual, it states that the changes are at every 12,000 kms! Changing plugs at 3000 is just adding to the landfill. I do a lot of city traffic since I commute to office on my 250, and I changed my spark plugs at 23,000 kms.
sorry i got things mixed up. change of plugs are at 12,000 kms only. but they have given a ninja DIY booklet which has plug replacement at 6000 k. this booklet was given during green day to all participants.
the plug replacement is only at 12,000 kms. i stand corrected.
Mountain biking on impulse with my wife and our bike goes down in water

Its actually a matter of subject. Few people like the loud beaty note of the aftermarket cans. For me, its the sweet stock sound. There is purr at low rpms and almost SBKish wail at really high revs. It sounds like a multi-cylinder bike on stock. To me , the aftermarket exhausts make the Ninja sound like a normal Indian bike on K&N. Just my opinion.
I feel the same..
I like the stock Bike sound more
Though I heard to the after market cans only in youtube videos
Are Nahi Sir ji,
It was definitely not his. I know his Ninja quite well..
May be someone else..( Now there are too many of them )
I hope to see Leo Vince on your also soon..
I swear there are too many Ninjas running around man .. Time to upgrade..

Are you saying you have lost the low end torque? Please explain in more detail.
A slip-on will not change the dynamics of the bike much as its purely for auditory pleasure. A full system makes a big difference. I'm assuming you are talking about a slip-on pipe.
I have submitted my travelogue about my Ride to World’s Highest Motorable Road in the contest – ‘Search for the True Wanderers”. Tomorrow is the closing date for this contest.
