I guess we people in blore pay more. I dont see any logic why the charges are more here unless taxes (vat etc.) is different.

Hope this clarifies. I dont have such a habit either.
Nope Adi.. it was not you, but in general.. someone told me it was 8k and the list chart displayed at PBK mentions around 6.5k.

I will have to search for the screenshot.. shall post it later.

3212 also came to me as a shock.. will ask prasanna for same in detail.

Thand rakho.. lets have a chilled beer for the drop in prices..
    RIP Marco

This is news to me. For past 5 years, I get my car serviced at MASS & not a single time there was a tax for labor in any form until now. Must be a case w.r.t to Maharashtra probably.

Govt. co. maybe. But one of the riders in my group filed 2 claims and it was a smooth process. He got the check within 2-3 days post submission of the bill for repairs undertaken.

Just continue with oriental and you wont regret it. I have been with them for the last 15 years... my current fiero for 10 years and previously my HH CD100 for 5 years. The CD100 had a claim and the office person helped me a lot. It was my first ever accident claim in life and i was very nervous and this person was very helpful.

Avoid ICICI Lombard. I have read horror stories about them.

Just go to mouthshut.com and read their reviews. They are very helpful only till the point you file a claim. Then the nightmare starts.

Their premium will be low when you shift to them and bang, the next year it doubles. They just want to poach customers. AVOID ICICI Lombard !!!

I don't even know that you had mentioned the service will be 8k. It was a generic statement. If you feel offended, extremely sorry for that.

Service tax falls under Central Excise and Customs and so is chargable throughout India. An establishment needs a turnover above 10 lakhs (not sure about this amount), then only they register for service tax and then charge it to customers. It is mandatory. May be your bill did not show it separately but was built in the charges shown.

No sir, no sir, no. I'm very confident that the labor didn't attract any tax. I'm very sure on this one. And, the ASC wasn't a small time player either.

Awesome. I've had my eyes on this one but dont want to mess with the electricals yet. I'd hate to be stranded on my trips.

Dude.. This is dirt cheap man.. 3.2k is an unbeatable rate for the 3rd service.. and I noticed even the rate for each item is lesser than that of Bangalore.. here engine oil change by PBK is almost Rs.700. I changed it once from PBK, never did after that.

                    • Delivery Delayed !

My delivery for the Green Ninja got delayed.
As the PBK @ Hyderabad informed that the bike is ready and just waiting for the box to be opened, I paid the booking amount and also applied for the HDFC Loan. Till yesterday PBK said that the bike is all ready and waiting for me inside the box.
I also requested that I'd want to be there while they open the box

When I was all ready, with loan approvals, DP and waiting to take delivery tomorrow (as promised), today they call me up and say that the bike has some problems and they have to order for a new one for which there is no ETA as Green is not available in stock anywhere

When i asked them that I'd like to have a look at the bike, they say all cock and bull stories and inform that they applied for some insurance for that particular damaged bike

I strongly believe that they just gave the delivery to some other customer taking some extra premium amount

as far as i know some firms add up the tax to give u net amount(not displaying tax separately)! they then deduct the tax from the amount u pay and pay to tax authorities!
