If the oil level is high, excess oil can be removed through the oil filler opening using a syringe. It's given in the owner's manual.
@therealabhinav: to me the windscreen doesn't look good at all (no offence) but it does it's job....
    Nice tank pad though.

Same is the case here but I intend to pay someone to do this DIY. So may be termed as GID - Get It Done.

Excess engine oil may make gear shifts harder. (I have experienced it) No damage done.

      • Had a minor accident today. A stupid bus driver sweared to the left (from the right most lane) without any signal. Due to loose sand - could not break hard - Bike did loose control and skidded - but thankfully gained control and went onto hit the bus which was taking the left turn.

Damages : Few scratches on the left fairing, Mis positioned ClipON and left Indicator broken.

Any idea how much it would cost me to repair this? My Bank balance is too low to show up at probiking - So would wait till this weekend

Good to know, you are allright! and hats off to your ATGATT moto!

Furthermore In such cases when we are hit by a public transport, i am just curious, what should be our next step. should we stop the bus and take the driver to the nearest police station and file a complaint or just forget it and wait for the outcome from insurance claim. Can the Public, inside the bus, According to law object us from stopping the bus and taking the driver to the police station.

You can skip touching up fairing for later.
                  Indicator - 1200 approx.
Clip on - needs to be inspected. If just repair job, not much but if replacement, sit down before you ask for quote.

You got the bike from Sunny, is it? I heard he had sold it but didn't know it was you who got it.
I recollected the ninja sticker on the fairing from our Tri-State G2G at Munnar earlier this year.

In case the forks are damaged, the bill is going to be high. and most likely PBK will take its own sweet time to repair it (read months). The fairing costs ~9000 in case you want to replace it, but i don't think there is any point in spending money on it unless it looks really bad.

bottom line is... be very afraid to crash a Ninja.

I had a slide a few months back and the bill was 19.5K. I replaced the side fairing, indicator, gear lever and both tailpieces. About half of this was paid by insurance.

I was in so much pain to see the Ninja down than to see my own knee hit the ground. The Bus sped away and there were so many similar (same college buses) - so could not not down the bus registration number to even lodge a complaint.

Thanks. Normally - You cant do much about it - Forget if it is a Public Transport - You can ideally take down the information of the other vehicle, the driver;s licence details and mobile number and then lodge a FIR in a near by police station.

I'm not really worried about the scratches - The Clipon has not broken - Just needs to be re positioned, same goes to the clutch lever.

Will have to replace the indicator this weekend.

I Did not have one. Plus, FYI - The Frame Slider will be of much help if the bike falls down when idle (i.e when stationary) - I don't want to buy it and mount it on the engine crank / chassis and then worry of the chassis getting damaged

Yes, I got it from Sunny couple of months back. Have covered about 7000 Kilometers already

Ouch! I dont think the fork is bent, I rode about 150 Kilometers after the crash - I did not really feel anything wrong with the way the bike handled - be it on corners or the bad roads. *I hope so nothing is wrong*
