Dude, please, please, please post another one of slightly better sound quality. There were so many people around and noise that i couldnt hear it when you were accelerating. Also i want to hear the note at 10k RPM. No hurry, but kindly do me this favor. I'll make it up to you when you come down to Blore.

I went to the M4 site too. They have the slip-on's available in Carbon and Titanium. I loved the Carbon finish. I guess they only have the standard mounting option. No underseat option, correct?

I have zeroed in on 2 options for a slip-on.

    1. M4

    2. Hot Bodies MGP Growler Slip-on.

Which one is better? I am keen on a deep rumble at low revv's and a bassy note as the revv's climb. Dont want it to sound shrill at higher revv's or something like a dirt bike. I'm kinda like leaning towards the MGP growler since its louder (?) and bassier (?).

Edit - i did find quite a few power commanders for the Ninja 250 and they were cheaper than a slip-on. Will post the links soon.
well for M4 i can vote as high rev it got subtle you would not feel the pinch
on idle its little loud, it louder betwen 4-6 rpm
and best part about m4 is when you stop your bike without clutchingor iafter stretching to 5 k rpm just leave the rev to come down
ofcourse I will put a better video this has been posted because of several pm every week

        • White Ninja looks clean and nice. But apart from a "new" color scheme and factory rim tapes I dont see anything special. Any bump in the power on this SE ninja?

The FI light comes on in case of any issues picked up by the sensors. Nothing to do with fuel. It's the low fuel indicator which comes on and stays on when you have only 4 liters in the tank.

It doesn't come with body coloured rear seat. Thankfully!

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

So the special edition ninja 250 comes with an "ordinary" seat.

Anyway, here is my query. I sampled a few video's on you-tube including the one from Superlife on slip-on exhausts for the ninja 250R.

The ones i have narrowed down my search to are (in no particular order) :

                        1. M4 slip-on

                        2. Hot Bodies MGP growler slip-on.

I loved the hot bodies growler but i felt it was way too loud. I dont want to get into trouble with the cops but yet want a nice deep, bassy sound which is loud enough... but not bloody loud to attract cops and a fine. The hot bodies growler is very bassy though

Any suggestions? Do the hot bodies come with a baffle which can be inserted to reduce the loudness a wee bit?

Please pour in your valuable suggestions on the above mentioned ones only. I'm not interested in any other exhausts cos they dont tickle my senses and are very pricey too.

I guess DSG is selling these sliders too. No idea how good they are mate. The only way to find out is by testing its crash worthiness which is not the best way.

If i understand the construction of this slider, there is no main bolt that goes through the engine housing. It only is fixed onto the frame via the metal brackets. How strong they are is what even I am curious to know. In a crash it might survive and protect the fairings but on the other hand, it might disintegrate and even crack the fairing.

There is a member on team bhp with the ID - balenopower. He has a black ninja and just got these sliders. Try sending him a PM for more info.
