Gloves anyone?
Sorry if I'm a little off-topic here but I wanted some advice on gloves.
I first had a pair from 'Cramster' but they felt like I was riding with boxing gloves on!! Totally lacked feel. Now have a pair of 'Alpinestars' ( a present - so I don't know the model ) but I still think they lack adequate sensory feedback. Does anyone have any suggestions about a model/pair that are light enough for good grip and feel but still serve the purpose?
I'm seriously tempted to ride without them but I read somewhere that a rider's first point of contact in the event of a shunt is his hands and I'd feel pretty dumb if my hands took a beating when I'm other-wise well protected with my other gear.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Read about Bajaj offering test rides in Pune, good to hear them doing the same here. The other 250 I've ridden being a V-twin, it would be interesting to see how this stacks up.(Plus it would take my mind off not being able to make it to Yercaud !)4 wheels move the body, 2 wheels move the soul.
