Hey guys, my bike has covered 3200kms. I have a concern, does anyone of you hear a click sound while initial acceleration or viceversa. Though its not causing any problems but seems it started after my Shimla trip where I tested my bike to full potenial. Sound is similar to what u hear when engine is off and u throttle and leave it.sigpic

Its a docile harmless issue with Ninja 250R and you absolutley need not be worried about it at all. Altho it does get a little on my nerves I have learnt to neglect it whenever it re-surfaces.
The noise will disappear on its own. Throttle sensor is the bane of the noise here.sigpic
when i ride bullet before my bullet was solid condition but i once race with a Ceilo car and my engine size. mechancic say bullet is good bike but no racing. it is good for three people and very powerful.

^^ going with the waiting on the bike, im sure you can ask for the amount you paid, For anyone keen to own the bike quickly, it wont hurt to pay as much as for a new bike, and get a 500 kms done bike.

Its the accelerator cable making the noise. Not to worry. If its exactly like the click of the mouseOriginally posted by Midnight View PostHey guys, my bike has covered 3200kms. . Try acclerating the bike and leaving the throttle, if the sound persists after u leave the throttle then its something else

You could sell it at 2.90Originally posted by jd666 View Post^^ going with the waiting on the bike, im sure you can ask for the amount you paid, For anyone keen to own the bike quickly, it wont hurt to pay as much as for a new bike, and get a 500 kms done bike.
No waiting and a headstart on engine Break-in.
Thats if you convince the buyer that you have kept it in immaculate condition.
If you cant get that price now you could sell it by calling shots from London; I wouldnt sell it at anything below that. Its got an aftermarket slip on too? Your Avataar !Last edited by TenHut; 04-22-2010, 02:10 AM.sigpic

If someone is buying a second hand bike warranty on the bike wont be transferable and will lapse. This is what I heard from Sachin @ Kirti Nagar.
Any one has any thoughts???
Thanks,

@Prabhjot bhai: Yes you have heared it right, the warranty is only for the original buyer. In case of change of ownership, new ownere is not entitled for the warranty.
PS: In case anyone interested a black Ninja with 800 kms on odo, first service done, doctor owned is available for as low as 2.4 lacs.
