Does it cost this much due to additional import duties? I mean bajaj till date only assembles the ninja at Chakan in Pune and ships it over to other places.Originally posted by freakzil View PostNo, dude that's in IC.... Here it costs 7.49 lacs NC which is ~ 4.7 lacs IC

Immediate delivery in Bangalore?
I have been to Khivraj today for 1K KMs service. Saw 4-5 new Ninjas parked there. Just out of curiosity asked them what the waiting period is and the answer was that they can deliver both color immediately. ( No discounts however
)
Good job by Bajaj to clear the backlog so quickly ( I got it in 60days in April against a promise of 90days).

Ninja Rain Ride
Took the Ninja out for a long ride last Sunday. Rode through a lot of really wet ghats and I must say the level of confidence I got from the tyres was outstanding. And not all the ghats were national highway roads.
The lack of LE torque requires you to keep the bike in lower gears on the ghats. Yo have to go right down to the third gear to have enough torque at hand.
The Ninja also handled the bad roads really well. The rear setup is very stiff and you will feel every bump in the road.
The lights are fantastic. Better any other Indian bike by far, except *maybe* P-220. Need to test that out.
Here are some pics,

Ninja headlight are on a better side than the P220.Originally posted by Hyperion View PostThe lights are fantastic. Better any other Indian bike by far, except *maybe* P-220. Need to test that out.
They offer better illumination owing to their 55W/110W low/high beam throw compared to the 55W/55W low/high beam for P220.My thoughts...

This will definitely void the warranty. On the other hand, I'm very happy with the stock lights.Originally posted by harikeshpk View Postany one wants to fit HID on a ninja. try the link below.

Guys a piece of advice from y'all. My cousin is coming down from the US and I have the option of importing any 1 thing I want. What's the best thing I can order from the US for the Ninja? I am basically confused between 2 things....riding gear or an exhaust.
Any of you who have visited the US will have a good idea, i guess. Also mention brands, if you will. Thanks!!The company I keep:
Yamaha Rx100
Yamaha RD 350 (HT)
Bajaj Pulsar 150
Kawasaki Ninja 250r
