Guys please check page no 40 & 41 of ZMR owner's manual . Is that's the correct way to change oil ? The SVC peoples remove the nut at bottom of engine to remove oil. Please post some quick view on it as i am going for 2'nd servicing today

I am worried cause on my previous bike the engine thread for fitting that nut got cracked due to removing & fitting it at every time , then i got to make some desi tricks to stop the oil leackage from there ( hole is first blocked with then got re threadning & used oversize nut ) then the oil leackage stopped.
But i dont want that thing to be happen again.

And yep i am thinking to change engine oil . Though hh stated to change at 6000 km . ( my bike is at 2nd servicing 2500 km , last oil change on first servicing 500 km ) Will ask the mechanic what he says then i will change it.

Is i need to get 200 ml more oil cause the bottle is of 900 ml , while in owner manual it is stated to have 1.10 liter of oil

What problem actually you facing ?
The tick sound & no starter running when you press starter ?
If so i was also faced same in last few days but my ZMR is resting for a month so mechanic told me let the bike run & get battery some power then there is no problem. I done same & now seems all ok.

Shell oils aren't readily available here in Delhi n i doubt IF i'll get one then it'll be an original one..that's why I am goin for something else..this engine oil i'll be buying from a known person so i have a bit of faith in it..but he sells only Castrol..

though if it isn't advisable then i might look for other options including Shell(which is my first preference as well)..

okay ive not heard of such a problem before so may not be able to guide you much on it.

and yeah regarding the engine oil change....even i got it changed during my 2nd servicing. and i got the HH recommended oil only and if u ask the SVC guys to do it they have a stock of oil kept in barrels so dont worry about the quantity. but yes if you get oil on your own then you may have to get the mentioned quantity only because it is always recommended to change the complete oil during oil change....and if you just doing a top up then the 900ml can is enough.

battery was not an issue in myZMR and month back SVC had check my ZMR battery and it was ok...
