bro you can notice the clutch plate week by following issues

    - Sluggish or poor pickup
    - High revs or high engine noise but no pull
    - False neutrals
    - Undesirable gear shift may occur at inappropriate time .

the clutch plates might need replacement only after 30k kms ! or atleast 25 k kms !

ZMR does not have a Oil Filter like in R15 and CBR250...and in ZMR it does not need to be replaced with engine oil change....recommended to clean every alternative service...if required then need to replace...

Thanks a lot guys... am definately maintaining the speed till date, not even crossed 60 yet..
One thing i noticed though, the gear shift is not smooth though, its kinda hard and also getting to neutral is a pain... is that expected ??
Also the indicator doesnt switch off automatically even if i take a U turn, manual says it shud happen..

gears will become smooth after couple of services & ya finding neutral is hard in all ZMR's..ZMR doesn't have auto cancellation indicators so they won't turn OFF after a turn..

                  • today, i just managed to beat pulsar 220 with my zmr.
is it the fact that zmr have greater pick up and torque than p220, or it's the quotation "It's not about the ride, it's about the rider"

The torque definitely is superior and linear......but like you said " It's the Rider " .

                          • Numbers vise The pulsar has better torque
                            19.12Nm vs 18.35 of the ZMa/ZMR

The Pulsar is definitely more torquier , but the feel and delivery is very harsh compared to the zma/r.

The transmission is more superior and power delivery is linear making the zma torque "feel" more nicer...

ZMA/ZMR produce 18.35NM torque at 6k rpm but p220 produce 19.12NM at 7k rpm..there isn't a gap of even 1NM between both but rpm difference is 1k that's why ZMR/ZMA feels more torquy while riding..
