AFAIK there isn't enough space to fit a 9amp battery in ZMR..Originally posted by padfootmoony2006 View Posthey ive had problems with the battery of my ride....and have it for replacement with fortpoint and its almost 1month tht its not replaced. so im thinking of getting a new one but a 9amp batt.....so can i install a 9amp into the zmr as the stock one was a ETZ-7 (7amp). i spoke to mehul regarding it and he asked me to stick with the stock 7amp...any more suggestions on it..?Suzuki Gixxer - Current

AFAIK ZMR has a 6Ah MF battery and 9Ah cannot be fixed on ZMR as the battery cage is very small for the battery.

yeah but the batt guy told me that he's done it on the karizma R's. And said that he would like to have a look onto the batt case, which aint possible as my bike is without batt..which is for replacement.Regards-

Thanks 111diablo111 , Mzee_Maverik , Aneesh@4GHz for replies. Will check the painter for costs . Also one of my friend suggest to get just white colour only.
As far as i know my ZMR has 6 ah mf battery & alot (all ) zmr owners here have same battery. Also on HH website it stated 6 ah battery in ZMR.Originally posted by padfootmoony2006 View Postbro it has a 7ah batt.......ok anyway i just needed to upgrade it to the 9ah so it could take a lil load load off my batt when i get a 55/60 osram installed. what say can i do it without a relay with the 7ah batt too???
It seems your bike is special to have a 7 ah battery.
And you said your battery guy want to check battery case , lol it is always in your bike . Go get bike to his shop , let him open the case & check it. And yes there are some peoples ( including Me ) have 55/60w halogen with no relay or anything extra. Why dont you check out some previous posts.

Man ZMR has 6Ah MF battery,You sure you have 7Ah???Originally posted by padfootmoony2006 View Postbro it has a 7ah batt.......ok anyway i just needed to upgrade it to the 9ah so it could take a lil load load off my batt when i get a 55/60 osram installed. what say can i do it without a relay with the 7ah batt too???
7Ah batteries are for older Karizma.
I think you don't have to use relays for bulbs up to 55/60W.Many are using HID and things & Stuffs with stock battery setup without any problem.

No problem mate. We are here to help each other & clear the doubts & problems as we can. Its really bad that your bike is resting because of no battery. Hope you will get one soon.Originally posted by padfootmoony2006 View Posthey sorry pal...actually i had read a few posts and had also asked mehul(myg) regarding it but due to my current battery issue i wanted to be safe after i get my new one so double checked.....and ya i accept my mistake regarding the batt Ah. and yeah i meant the same regarding the batt guy wanting to check the batt case....i wont b able to get the bike to his shop coz i dont have a batt to start my bike and ride it eventually....

BTW don't you know about starting bike in gear ? Just get bike in first gear , switch on the key , seat on bike & hold the clutch , gain some momemtum ( get some push to give a motion to bike ) Now release the clutch & give a little accelerator . Your bike will start . It is the way to get bike started without kick or button.
Though it will resque you but dont try it too much cause the jerk after releasing the clutch will harm the chain . So not recommanded to do it . Just a tip so if sometime you need bike urgently. ( It is a desi funda )

I think red and white combo will give a more sporty look to the bike whereas golden (if used of same shade as engine) will highlight the the engine... Also it depends on the finish and quality of paint... Ensure you get a good finish so as not to look odd.Originally posted by Above_All View PostGuys i need a suggestion , i am planning to paint alloy wheels. Which colour can be good ?
