  • @psr'jee - that means you do lube your clutch/throttle cables ? I never lube any HeroHonda original spares cable , except for a dab of grease on the end-buds once only while installing . As far as I can recall , it was written on the pack , not to lubricate them ever . The cables remain smooth on both my bikes years n years . Friction free cables are supposed to be coated inside the casing with nylon or teflon . Oil/grease there will cause a jam .

While I like the idea of electronic fuel injection , the system should be fool-proof in operation in indian roads , given the dearth of competent mechanics to repair such on the road almost anywhere here . All spares should be freely available even outside of HH service . I was amazed when my HH service center's parts counter refused to sell me a wheel-bearing set unless I also got it fitted from them . They told me that herohonda has banned all over-the-counter parts sale . This was about one month back . Is it true ?
Yes , I have seen quite a few bikes , mostly zmr's stranded there at the service centre for want of spares for months . And I have also seen them pull out parts like rvm's & tail-light etc from some of these stranded bikes there and giving to others whos come in for repairs now . Cannibals ?

Actually there is a nylon sheath for the entire length of the cable on the inside, between the inner and outer cables. This also prevents the water from getting in and causing rusting.

Not true, infact in Chennai we have a separate Spares outlet of HH which survives on spares sale...All spares are available at the price printed on the HH package....and the pricing is on par with the same spares available outside.some critical spares have to be ordered

This sad state of affairs is( hopefully) only with some A.S.S.

Not possible... I think for 110 section tyre, it's better to remove the chain cover and fix half open chain cover...

No 110 is not possible without cutting chain guard,You have two options,Remove the chain guard or Replace your chain guard with a half chain guard as luvurbike said.If you want a 110 section tire, then why don't to try Michelin M45?

For the ZMR the rear hole is a straight fit and front u can make a hole in plastic.

m45 is not available here and is not tubeless thats why it is out of picture...
