yes, i went over the pot hole many times, but this was a pretty big one. I was able to spot it too late as it was raining and night time. so had to let go over it to avoid a crash. i might be at good 70-80 kmph at that time, but i think it mainly happened because i had my fully loaded saddle bags at the rear which increased the weight at the back

The increase in performance is directly proportional to the size of the hole in your pocket :D

yes it is possible to fit it on the rear disc. Mechanical ABS valves can be used on any hydraulic brake system, and electronic ones can be used anywhere.

BTW-why do you want to fit it though ???

but when i asked to supervisor of my workshop ...he told me that you could only fix abs on free moving wheel i.e. front wheel
and its not possible to fix on rear as its not free moving wheel cos it has chain attached to it ... + rear disc has only one piston in it

somebody help ....coz i think abs could be fitted to rear

no its not like that !! the mechanical abs is a pressure regulated bypass valve. it is attached where the brake hose meets the brake calliper, be it front or rear disc. it can obviously be attached on the rear wheel. mehanical abs is nothing but a pressure regulated valve. when the wheel locks due to powerful application of brake, a sort of high pressure builds up in the brake line. this valve opens beyond a certain pressure and releases it, as soon as it releases it the pressure drops and valve closes again, which raises the pressure again. this happens really fast so that there are very small and un noticeable wheel locks. electronic abs uses sensors that detect sudden deceleration and prevent wheel from locking. aaahhhh enough of theory, but the bottom line is that you can fit them on the rear wheel as well
