    Upto you.. Both are really good engine oils! Shell costs 399 for 1L now. Gulf am not sure.. [MENTION=27501]rreneav1987[/MENTION] should help you.

      Gulf is a Mineral oil which will cost you 300/- and AX7 is Semi Synthetic.. it will cost you 350/- both do wonders to ZMR engine

      I got Shell for 325/- and I last used it before my June Ride to Coimbatore.. now I am not aware of it.. my friend here got it for 350/-

      Now the problem will be the availability of AX7 and Gulf Oils..
      Splendor - 2k to 2006
      Karizma - 2k3 to 2009
      P180 - 2k6 to 2k9
      Hunk - Oct 2k7 til now
      ZMR - 2010 to Forever
      RX135(2k) - 2013 to 2018

        ^AX7 is readily available in all shell petrol bunks, atleast here in Chennai.. You shouldn't have any trouble finding them.

            After using Gulf, I dont think I will move back to AX7 I love Gulf.. I get Shell AX7 from the supplier and not the retailer.. I might have purchased atleast 25ltrs of oil from them so they give me some discounts and keychains

                Is it a semi synth? Or mineral? Or fs? What's the difference between this and ax7, I mean how does the engine perform??

                  Both are equally good.. the reason I choose Gulf over Shell is it is a little cheaper

                          If you see it that way then gulf pride is too costly for a mineral oil and ax7 is too cheap for semi synth

                            At the end, they feel the same to me besides.. mineral oil is good enough for me

                                I have no other choice but to use a thicker oil at the moment.. have to save some money before i open to check the piston rings.. i dont want the bike parked idle without money to fix it after opening up the engine..

                                Though she has been taking rest since Monday.. Driving a car is really irritating..
