Wow... Then yours is in a better condition than mine. How much do you weigh by the way? Perhaps my 87 kg is pulling it back. My bike goes to 76 kmph and then moves till 79 kmph at 5000 rpm. For 80 kmph it has to cross 5000 rpm.

TO all those whose speed are varying at constant rpm. Check the free play of clutch and increase it a little. As very less free play in clutch lets it to drag at high rpm.

              Congrats, mate!!

I weigh 101. Plus, together with my better half, it's 30 km every day home-office-home. With that, I guess the clutch plates have worn in less than 6000 kms.

Afaik, no matter how much the load, speed at a particular rpm remains constant. 80kmph at 5k rpm. If load is high, it may take time to reach that rpm but then, speed at that rpm should not be effected. Maybe wrong here though. Enlightenment required if am wrong. Lol!
And as said by a member, check the freeplay of the clutch.

What you said is right. The speed at a particular rpm does not vary with change in load.
The speed will reduce only due to worn out clutch plates or chain sprocket etc as power is not transmitted efficiently.
For example, my rtr does 54kmph at 4k rpm in topgear. This will remain constant irrespective of the load. But due to wear and tear of clutch plates or chain sprocket etc, this speed will reduce from 54 to a lower value, again irrespective of the load.

I checked with the mechanics at ASC. They said there is some difference and it cannot be done.. i wasnt able to understand what they were trying to say about the difference..

Yeah many people dont like it, but personally it has been a lifesaver in more than one occasions on all my different rides, be it Kiney, ZMA or D100 for that matter.
But on the downside if you're riding an AC bike its a pain to stop on the side of the highway at night because the indicators are the only things that run off the battery and trying to pee with the buzzer going off is a bit harder to pull off than most people think.

                            Hi,

This morning my ZMR failed to take ignition. As soon as I turned the key position to ON, the Orange light was blinking and a tick-tick noise was coming from below the seat.

When I press the ignition, the noise pauses and the dashboard goes blank, and there is NO ignition. As soon as I leave the ignition, the tick tick sound comes back and also the orange FI light blinks.

See the video. What is it ?

From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

Video isnt working. I feel it is the battery issue mate. Get the battery charged and see how it helps.

                              Let us know the observations

Either your battery is dead or your fuses are blown. Could be your rectifier as well but my money is on the battery. Get another battery and test it. The tic tic sound is the ignition control trying to calibrate.
