BAJAJ's not doing it purposely, there is a specified safety limit which need to be taken care of, like in the cases of bike falling off to prevent spillage an reduce the possibility of major accidents. But usually pump attendants do not adhere to it and fill it up-to the brim.Originally posted by DoubleO7 View PostAny idea on why Bajaj does it this way?

About the Scilencer..
Guy's..
According to the placement of the silencer... Don't you think that during the rains water will not only go inside the silencer but will stay inside. We have seen Bajaj stock silencer's getting rusted from inside and eventually breaking off..
Will it happen with P135 too..??

hey buddy, instead of doing that you can go for 150 cc itself.. this modification will make the warranty void..and the extra cost will take you that much closer to 150 cc's price.Originally posted by sudheerpai View PostHi

Sure that thing looks hideous but it doesn't leaves your glory on the faces of people behind you. ( For this only I hated the bikes, when I used to drive my bicycle or scooty, specially in the rains.)Originally posted by anirudh fz1 View Posthas anyone managed to remove the cycle type (lol) mud guard ,i told my friend to just remove the screws and throw the whole thing in the garbage along with the saree guard.

Didn't got hold of it but desperately wanting to try a one, but till now the CASTROL ACTIV XTRA is doing job fine for me.Originally posted by DoubleO7 View PostHas anyone tried Motul mineral engine oil 15W50 on P135?
As the vibrations become significant above 60KMPH speed i was thinking of changing the engine oil and see if that helps.
BTW the vibrations are not so horrible say like on HH Splendor or CT100.
Its vibrations are pretty damp.
@Payeng Sir, can you give the various RPMS at which 220 picks up speeds above 60 and so.

Well I can speak about the Fi P220 variant only (which is my current ride).. the Carburetted DTSi comes with slightly altered gearing and slightly different state of engine tune.Originally posted by suhail View PostDidn't got hold of it but desperately wanting to try a one, but till now the CASTROL ACTIV XTRA is doing job fine for me.

The "Fi" P220 does around:
>> 57-58 kmph at around 4000 rpm (5'th gear)
>> 69-70 kmph at around 5000 rpm (5'th gear)
>> 83-84 kmph at around 6000 rpm (5'th gear)
>> 96-97 kmph at around 7000 rpm (5'th gear)
above that, I have usually kept my eyes on the road than on the speedo/tachometer
