    • The clutch lever in my bike makes a 'Click' sound when pressed and again when released. Has anyone noticed it or is it just in my bike?

      • Help!!!

        Guys
my bike is making noise like the some years old pulsars mostly make.
its like that a part or gear is revolving while knocking repeatedly.
its like that a chain is revolving.

bajaj people are not able to rectify it
        what to do?

        • Most probably it must be coming from the chain.

Oil leak problem as mentioned by someone, is seen in my bike too... Dust getting accumulated near the engine joints.

Also it gave an mileage of 62 km/lit. The bike is 430 km old.

its not coming from chain its from engine.
the sound is like a chain is knocking in side the engine even
                in stationary bike.

                  • Got front shockers' piston changed under Warranty ! ! !

Yesterday, I got my bike's front shockers' piston (the long rod like thing present inside the shockers) changed under Warranty form SVC. Some noise was coming from the shockers whenever I went over potholes and speed-breakers and also under disc-braking. And after the changing of the part, now there are no sounds from the shockers. Everything is butter smooth now.

                    • vibrations @55 to 70

                      Hi Everyone,
Is anyone facing vibrations on right handlebar and right footrest ?
I mostly feel it during the speed 55 to 70. Never went beyond that as of now.. Its around 1300 odo. Though its not that heavy, constant long ride is not comfy due to this.
have svc guys checked and they have offered to replace the footrest assembly (since mine p135 has smaller footrest than the current ). M not sure if that would solve the problem completely. Anyone has faced it ? Any probable solution ?
I am very much satisfied with the bike except this issue.

                      • Can any one tell me about the Petrol Tank, Is it divided in to two compartments internally..??

What happened was, 2 days back my bike slipped from a piece of a tile, some petrol also came out from somewhere. At first time when I had calculated my mileage it was 62 kmpl but yesterday when the bike came to reserve it shows an mileage of 73 kmpl. Has the petrol from right side of the tank (assuming that there are compartments) cause this Increase of Mileage of 10kmpl..??

My wrists pain while driving the bike, also sometimes there is numbness. I tried changing my posture.. no help..!

i only feel vibrations in the right footrest between 50-70 rest is ok, i dont know why the vibration is only present in right footrest.
i dont think replacing a footrest will solve but you can go for it no harm in it.

No! there are no compartmentrs in the fuel tank if you will see a detached tank it is single at the end.
wrists do feel numb after long ride, its because body weight is shifted on hands due to riding position.
you can bend your elbows a bit to remove the pressure of body.

                          • vibrations

It has been more than 2000 km on my bike

                            to be precise,
the bike is very smooth before 64 kmph. the vbrations start at 65 kmph and continue till 70 kmph. After that the bike is again smooth with no vibrations.

At 6k rpm the speed is around 72-73

The best part abt the bike is the way it reaches from 70 km/h to 95 kmph.
I hv clocked 101 kmph 2 times (on delhi's traffic ridden roads )

                            • I've completed 518 kms on my P-135. It's great, except for one issue (worrying issue) :

The self starter doesn't work 90% of the times. It used to work great during the first week or so, after that, it works at random.

What happens is, when I use it, the display console goes blank, and nothing happens. Then, the console gets reset (displays 188 in the speed column, full fuel, battery low indicator, etc, ie, all the parameters are set to their max value, like what happens during self check), and the console comes back. Kick start works fine.
However, the console shows a "battery low" icon once the console comes back to life after the failed electric start attempt. Now, initially the SVC guys told me my battery is low, and would get sorted out if I rode it for 5 Kms.
I rode it for 30 kms continuously, and then tried it, and the problem reappeared! The low battery icon again resurfaced.
The electric start does work sometimes though, it's completely at random.

Now, either the battery is not getting charged, or there is some internal short which is draining the battery gradually, are the reasons I could think of. Since I am a novice at bikes, I hope I get some help from you guys.

And, the bike stands in the sweltering heat of Chennai (40 deg + easily) for 6-7 hours daily. Could that have caused this problem?

I'll be giving it for its first service in a few days, hope the SVC guys atleast identify the problem.

Inputs from your side would help.

                              • Vibrations right from 2000 rpm

Guys. Mine is just a 4 day old ride. Have done about 200 km. I sense vibrations (more than normal) right from 2k rpm to 4k rpm; in brief bursts have also noticed vibrations at 5k rpm. I could feel the vibes at the tank, seat, pegs etc. The gearshift is pretty smooth though. Is anyone else facing the same?

Should I bug the svc guys now or wait till the 1st service is over? Your thoughts please.
