Each and every alloy wheel will support tubeless tyres until and unless the alloy wheel has wholes.
Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

Start ur bike and warm it up let it settle in idle rpm and then at an instant rev it as it has to hit 11k rpm. see if the needle hit the 10k or 11k mark easily. if the needle get stuck at 6k rpm and falls back to zero. get ur speedo replaced under warrenty

try this for quiet sometime. this is exactly why my speedo was replaced twice!

i tried the method the tacho went smoothly to 8000RPM without a hitch then started shakin violently......

earlier it was smooth till 9000 but now it's virtually impossible to read the Rpm once it's pass 8500.....

well i wont complain cuz at that speeds i'll be busy lookin at the road than glancin at the speedo though!!!!!!

but gonna miss the tacho needle goin smoothly to 12000!!!!!!!!!!

yep! i have a front IRC tubeless and its has worked out really great till now
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

i think r-15 tyre can be a straight fit for front, for rear tyre can be found but tvs themselves are saying apache rim NOT a tubeless one

TVS don't manufacture their alloys. May be TVS did not test the alloys with tubeless tyres for road use

                    • Any rim/alloy which can seal the compressed air can run tubeless tyres. The RTR can comfortably run tubeless, so can a karizma or a pulsar. One of my friend already runs the R15 tyre without a tube.
I'm also gonna be running tubeless tyres soon. They are much better than tube type.

                          • @satish: yep it the same tyre.. my problem was that, i have a M45 (120/90) in rear, which is very round and the front is of IRC 100/80 not so round.. so at times when I lean the bike really hard, the rear slips/slides(mostly on uphills).. other than that the tyre is okay.. now i have learnt to keep the bike straight and transfer my weight in the corners.. so now it is okay! no bad thing about the tyre.. its just that my config is screwed! :P

                            • so i think tubeless tyres are ON for rtr
speedo general error, replace it though in warrenty period
& you have to spend 10k for rear disc on older rtr

                              • tires......help plz

                                Hi Bikers....
I own a Apache 150 Sept '06 model which is running in 40,000 odd kms..
I had replaced the rear tire last year as it was worn out(not fully) & i also did not like the way it responded on braking. [tire -MRF Q-grip Zapper 110/90x18]

Now my bike is due for a chain-sprocket set and front tire replacement...

I noticed that when the bike bounces on uneven roads or speed breakers, the right side of the tire touches the chassis on the top...i.e when riding with a pillion. For this reason, the person with whom I do my bike work, told me to change the rear tire also....(back to 100/80)
I however dont want to go back to 100 size...

Kindly suggest the right right tire for the rear. Tubeless preffered.

For the front I intend putting the MRF FS Zapper 90/90x17.

I need a solution fast as I gatta change the chain-sprocket after the rear tire problem is fixed.
