All i asked him was to get the bike up and running above 145 kph and bloody it kinda gets stuck at 130 kph. My thinking is more likely to get a 28mm carb and go back to the stock air filter. RTR guys here please help. I dont want to go back to that guy again. He shows big time attitude and doesnt turn up to the shop itself. Probably if i give the bike to him, he will do the job but i wont see my bike for a month or so. He just doesnt deliver on time. Lazy Bugger!!!!
My guess is he has tuned the bike very rich, which has caused the mileage to drop. Like pcgamer said, if you can post pics of spark plug it will help.

@Adarsh_Bk Please take a look at this.
Yeah severely modded i guess. i literally had to shell out money because the stock camshaft had been damaged and it inturn hurt the head, bore and piston. No going to stock bro. i know the if's and but's of modding the bike. The bike rides better and feels alive after 5 years and 70000 kms on the odo. So no more money to spend. All i want to do it set it straight. I am gonna keep this as my experiment bike in the future. Right now i just want it give me atleast 35 kmpl. Thanks for your advise bro. Please do let me know if we can meet in person and discuss few things.

Wow. 70000km is great.
If your ride is doing alright, I guess it it being fed too much fuel. Checking the spark plug tip's colour would be the first place to start. Would love to meet and discuss, but my knowledge regarding the engine internals is very limited. Members like psr, shv18, abhimanyu31 etc are the correct ones for that I feel. Contacting them would be the best move I guess.

The plug look brown in some areas and black in some. The mixture isn't too rich from what I understand.
You can go to those members' profile and leave a visitors' message or a PM or mention them in your post. They'll get the alert.
Sure, I'd love to meet. But I'm not riding since the last 10 months or so due to some health issues Would let you know once I get back on the saddle. BTW, you can meet the BLR xbhpians by attending a G2G that takes place quite often. The details will be in this thread. Keep visiting it often to know about new G2Gs

PS psr Sir, please take a look at this.

Actually Adarsh_Bk or Drifty had once shared me the map link to a RTR mechanic nearby Begur & another nearby indira-nagar old madras road.
I think that person can be helpful for ajextreme
I lost that link. I searched a lot here. I should have bookmarked it.

hi ajextreme...I too feel its more like an improved/cosmetic change of tvs star city...In the Ad they talk about some star has come...
First time when I saw it, I though its the most awaited RTR-250...I read in some blog that it is due to arrive by 2015...
So this is probably the new Star City and TVS havent used dhoni or any celebrity for campaigning RTR's so far...
RTR doesnt need any celebrities..It itself is a celebrity..

Guys... I am looking to change color of my Orange RTR FI. What are my options?

1. Paint job? Would it be good? what about the stickering...
2. Change the Orange color parts itself.... Would the Grey RTR parts fit the RTR FI? Any idea on the cost?

What are the other considerations? Do i need to get the color change registered in RC?

Yes you can change the color by getting them painted part by part. But 160 fi is famous for its orange color, why change it?
Secondly if you change the color, you need to get it changed in rc too.
