    thanks
For IND type number plates contact RajShankar (9341230174) old airport road, near to kempfort(now it Total mall, not sure abt that) .i took it for Rs 400/-, it will cost around 800 in JC road. i think they(shops in JC road) also get it done from him.these number plates are not made mandatory yet...so you can get it done and fit it yourself.no need to take to RTO.

12.5:1 comp ratio on an air cooled engine WILL need high octane fuel. 97 mandatory. The spec shart that you see is of the TVS apache RTR Group B bike and not really the street verion kit. They run nearly 100 octane gas.
To run pump gas, the max u can go is 11.5:1.
@Apar - FYI, I'm now running nearly 13.8:1 on my Fiero. So you can imagine what gas I'll need

            • Guys!!

Need a help on the best TVS dealer in Bangalore specially around Indira Nagar. I have seen 4 - Gupta(a new one) on old madras road, Tristar(2 of them) around domlur flyover and Meghdooth.

As per my experience found MeghDooth good. Gupta was also good and offered many accessories free with RTR FI - may be because it's new - but how about the sevicing guys there? or can I use services of Meghdooth?

Which has the best Service Center guys?

AFAIK you can buy the bike anywhere and get it serviced anywhere.. and they need not be the same..

if thats the case and youre fine with it.. get the best deal on the bike and get it serviced at a place you trust

more inputs from guys @ bangalore would help him..

if you are talking about the meghdoot at cox town.. my friend still travels 10kms+ to get his fiero serviced there.. he has tried many places but is very happy with the work at meghdoot..

                anyway congratz on your decision

Hmm.. Meghdooth does not do too good a job. YOu ought to try Bharath TVS in Jayanagar. They are pretty much good. And people I registered for ARE... Had to pay Rs.500 as the registration fee.

Anyways hope it will be worth the price.

Will keep you posted. Also got a set of decals for my bike saying ARE.

                  • Does anyone know how to adjust the beam focus on the RTR? The lo-beam HID has pretty good focus, but the hi-beam halogen is throwing the light somewhere towards the left and to a truck's height, way off the focus. Any suggestions for adjusting the reflector like there is on the R15?

To adjust the HL beam, u have a bolt at the lower part of the fairing. Just look under your license plate. You can just loosen it and it has a travel of about 20mm. You can set you focus by moving it front or back and then tighten the bolt.

                        +1

i bought mine at bharath tvs @ jayanagar

dont know if its the same with every tvs showroom or for every customer at bharath tvs :P .. they call after a week once the service is done.. take the feedback on the performance.. if anything is not right .. the service manager murali will speak to you regarding the issues .

but out of the options that you had listed.. i suggested meghdoot

I was searching the address of the shop where we get petronas sprinta.. my friend wants it.. could someone point me in the right direction ? I am from Bangalore.

                              Hello Joel,

Does Apache over head Cam RTR's Cam have more lift than Apache 150's?

                              Can this be a retrofit?
