All said, the Group B RTR has meanwhile undergone a mild surgey in the national round last year and its true that it makes 1 or 2 horses more.
Whats is not reaslistic is the Pro-kit bike's 20bhp figure.
The most interesting part is that their motocross bike - 160 FX makes only 19bhp as per the spec sheet. Why would a race bike have lesser power than a street bike (20bhp on the pro-kit RTR)?
Looks like the guy who printed mixed up the figures then

Works on my modified RTR set-up was,
Big valve head with altered port geometry, high comp set-up, redesigned combustion chamber, fully tuned freeflow exhaust, larger dia carb with freeflow filter, altered ignition timing, sproketting etc.
This bike was even ridden on the streets and I have done some touring for 900odd kms. Took it once on a race weekend from bangalore to chennai riding up and down and thrashing it on the track.
Fuel efficiency was around 45kmpl on highway and 40kmpl in city.
Power starts flowing in from 7000rpm and revs till its 12000rpm sweet spot.
Top speed when tested on the GPS was 135kmph in 800 odd mtrs and 400mtrs was 16.5 secs.
The engine is now reverted back to stock class specs.
The same stock group D set-up engine with a few tweeks, freeflow and a bigger carb did 17.2 secs at the Hyd deccan drag when ridden by my friend who didnt even properly launch the bike.

                      • after adjusting the linkage of my bike today (lowered the gear shifter by one whole inch) the false neutrals have magically disappeared and the bike is also goin smooth from first to second..........

                        you can try it too...........

if someone suggests to use the honda oil ... please DO NOT use the honda oil..

i used it on the advice of a respected person on this forum. The gear shifting is a bit smoother and thats it. There is tremendous loss of power, the bike struggles to move and vibrations had reduced initially, and i now feel it has increased.

                            • Try Gulf Pride 20W40! I see a marked improvement in my CBZ-X with the 10W30.
