Isnt newer technolgy supposed to make life more comfortable? I agree four-strokers have more moving parts, more complicated, etc etc. But does that mean they can be so badly built? Brand new bike!!! And so many issuesOriginally posted by Raccoon View PostGosh dude, how can you compare a 2 stroker with a 4 stroker? Try doing that with a 4 stroke Yam and see!!

Really, some of the issues I have been reading in this section scares me off. I think, the best option is to buy a properly raped 2stroker, find a good mechanic, rebuild it to stock & enjoy.A lone amateur built the ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic...

tyre performance...
those who are not happy with TVS tyres in RTR/FI can try reducin the pressure to 27 at rear and 19 at front...
i'm driving at this pressure for the last two days...
accelaration is suffering a little bit and ur average will be down by 5kmpl or so but grip has improved vastly and now i can corner it with much more confidence and scraped my new R15 pegs...
though it'll eat up my tyres soon...(tht's good i'll switch to MRF's thn!!!!!!
)

Is it from fuel pump or from the pipe. Either ways, thats too risky!! Take it to ASC immediately and get it rectified...Originally posted by thegreat1 View PostGot fuel leakage from the pipe coming to engine block.Can anyone help?? w'll be taking the bike to service centre.I've only done 5600Kms on My RTR refreshDemocracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Osram Nightbreaker
I had already posted report of 14T. Will post exact technical data after exams.Originally posted by nox2505 View PostYappy! changed to 14T sprocket. I liked the performance. I tried wheelie too, though it took little more throttle, I am satisfied. And pillion also will be happy as he won't scare
(i haven't tried yet
). Efficiency i got is 56kmpl, with mixed use, over 53kmpl with previous sprocket
. top speed i clocked is 118kmph(obstacle occured. had to slow down, road is also not so good), On the curves i used to take in 4th on inclines, i needed to shift to 3rd for a while. thats the only thing i am missing.
Is anyone using Osram nightbreaker 55/60 headlamp on RTR/RTR-Fi? Which one fits in readily in the standard socket? Howz the performance?Last edited by nox2505; 06-06-2009, 03:45 PM.There's lot to it other than saddle....

Yes, thats sad. Seems TVS hasn't done its job properly. A well made 4 stroker should really not need more maintainence than a 2 stroker. Even 4t oils these days are capable of lasting 5 - 6 thousand km as in the Hero Hondas. Perhaps, the only thing maintainence disadvantage a 4 stroker has is the valve setting. Even that has to be taken care of after tens of thousands of km. Rest all is not too different, maintainence wise.Originally posted by NitinGirish View PostIsnt newer technolgy supposed to make life more comfortable? i m havin that (55W) for a few months in my RTR. its good, better than the stock bulbs as its having better visibility and also looks great .It was a direct fit.
As the stock pilot lamps were looking weird with this headlamp, i changed that too to bluish white pilots. For that i had to change the holders, think that of zma's( as per mechanic..he had spare with him). its now that the lights look exactly like the Wolf's Eye.
