    First and Fast words

    Hello RTRians, its my first post on xbhp. I was following this thread since I made my mood to buy a RTR for me. But don't know why I didn't post anything here. Now I have a yellow RTR Carb. Bike itself is great, a little vibration but who cares. I have done nearly 2.8k on ODO in 40 days of ownership with two services.

    I am facing two issues though, first my disc got lot of lines on it and the second is that I am getting a sound from headlight portion even passing on a small bump. If any friend have any remedy for these illnesses, tell me too.

      The lines on disk are caused by dust particles that get rubbed when disc is applied . nothing to worry unless they are very deep .
      what kind of sound is coming from headlight ?? are all nuts and bolts properly tightened ?

        Thanks buddy,
        there is a feeling of some looseness there in headlight. Sound is getting higher with time. I felt some times that a bolt is moving some where, when I take a corner on the road.

        Which bike do you have buddy and how much have you rode it.

          check the two bolts on the sides of meter console and one that is under the headlight behind the no. plate .

          i also have RTR with 9800 kms on ODO

            Which color/ Carb or Fi/ Top Speed ??

                      Hi riders

                      i know its common bt want to clear it once.
                      i want to fit HID on my RTR CArB ..
                      should i fit it???
                      will it support??
                      plzz reply fast coz my headlight is nt orking nd i m palning to fit HID as soon as possiblea..

                        One strange thing I've noticed these days that whenever I release throttle on my RTR Refresh ,there is a jerk in clutch lever ie It moves back to depressed position.Can anyone explain ??? Also bike seems to stop ie Its not moving freely.........

                          oye i have the same bike.even my has the problem of making"khat khat "noise when i run into bumps.i have thread regaing this too.many knowledgeable riders said that its the problem of CONE SET.i still did not change it cause i am not getting time to take my ride to svc due to office.

                            i got the same prob and my battery was replaced under warranty....

                            Yup!! I got the replacement too As bike is still in warranty perios it costed 5 Rs

                              O hi Snehil, thanks for reply. Is this a common problem or some RTRs are having this. It feels very weird when even on a slightest bump your new darling makes noises.

                                both of you go to the SC and get it tightened,that will eliminate the noice...
