@Tushar: check the front wheel and tyre.

Orange wire to horn is IGN +ve and green is -ve via horn switch in case of any TVS vehicle(atleast scooty, victor and RTR).
As there was no other nice palce to mount the horn relay, I have mounted it under the seat, where ECU is fitted in Fi RTR. RTR-fi owners can mount it under fuel tank, where SAI solenoid is mounted (take care that any wire do not touch the engine head).

      Benefits:
      1. Power supply to horns without any losses.
      2. Longer Life of Horns, switches and IGN switch also.
      3. Heavy current flow is transfered to thicker wires from stock company wires.

here are the photos and wiring diagram for relay.
I thought you're a crab expert only, but now i think you're a wiring and elec guru too....
Cheers man, lots of good info you provided.

          • hi RTR160 fi owners i am planning to buy a bike soon so can u please tell me why one should by RTR fi 160 not RTR 180...180 is cheap and fast longer wheel base so why u have bought RTR 160 Fi not RTR 180?? i know RTR 160 is Fi [fuel injected] but what else for that extra price and less power?

Fuel efficiency, fabulous exhaust note and better low end torque. Ohhhh and not to forget few missings

              • Any ideas guys how to get rid of the "shine" of the paint i applied to the side stand, rear chain nut adjuster cover? As the shine is not going with the overall "dull" paint scheme.

i have one option, wash it with strong "SURF" solution.
                Any other ideas than this?

What's your model? FI or Carbed?

Showroom guys use the worst polish and do it in the $hitty way.
If you want a teflon coating get it done from the reouted shop, specializing in that.

mine is a Carbed. just 6 days old. and bike is getting turned off in 2nd gear. don't know why. and i asked the showroom guys to change my clutch play from full clutch to half clutch. they say that half clutch will damage the gear box and will reduce the mileage. is it so?

Surf will probably wear down the coat to the underlying surface so the paintjob would have been no use. Rather get some fine polish paper, i have 3M 211 Q wetordry which is very slightly rough, this should roughen up the surface a bit, and then 401 Q which is very fine and will give a smooth but matte finish.

First, check if the tyre is rubbing anywhere with the bike on the mainstand. It could also be tar from the road, i had quite a bit all over my silencer downpipe and on the belly pan once.

the tyre is not in contact with anythng while rotating...
i dont think its the tar either...
feels like melted rubber...i mean v small pieces everywhere on the engine....

Will get 401 Q sandpaper then, i think it will serve my purpoes alone.
but will it take out the paint a bit? or it's just too fine?

I bought the normal ASIAN PAINTS BLACK cuz the swingarm was rusted badly and i wanted a proper oil paint to cover it, i applied three coats, while roughing them a bit after the another with a fine sandpaper, the ones painters use on wooden surface.

that'll eat up the clutch quick, will give you hard shifts, eat up the performance and efficiency too.
