today while riding on my friend's rtr while maneuvering at parking speed i felt front wheel kinda wobbling.what is the issue folks?and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

I am having a problem now..yesterday i was returning back to coimbatore after a trip to siruvani.Suddenly the bolt under the engine came off and all the engine oil started to leak..my bike also started skidding as it came in contact with all the spilled oil.Somehow I managed to control it.When i stopped the bike, the remaining engine oil also came off.It was empty now.I toed the bike to a tvs dealer 3 kms from the spot and had a dry bolt fixed under the engine.New engine oil was also filled.Came back at a slow speed to my home.Today I was going at 85 kmph. The bike started shaking.I thought it was due to some skiddy stuff on the road. But again it started to shake at that speed.I still think that the oil is at the tyres.Or are the wheels loose?.Never seen this happen before.whats happening?whats wrong?

the oil seal (Black plastic cap) has failed and i think you need to replace this or there is jugad which i did and worked is put some gasket maker pest around that black cap and oil wont leak .Originally posted by aniket4848 View PostPLEASE HELP ME OUT GUYS
I bought RTR 160 Hyper Edge 3 weeks back and completed 86 km on ODO...

Can youGuys Help me out...????
What may be the cause of the problem..?? Is it Serious...?????Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

Check the wheel alignment..If the oil is there on the tires then you dont need to get to that speed to experience this skidding...also check if the tires are worn out..check the tread mark...Originally posted by vijayrtr32 View PostI am having a problem now..yesterday i was returning back to coimbatore after a trip to siruvani.Suddenly the bolt under the engine came off and all the engine oil started to leak..my bike also started skidding as it came in contact with all the spilled oil.Somehow I managed to control it.When i stopped the bike, the remaining engine oil also came off.It was empty now.I toed the bike to a tvs dealer 3 kms from the spot and had a dry bolt fixed under the engine.New engine oil was also filled.Came back at a slow speed to my home.Today I was going at 85 kmph. The bike started shaking.I thought it was due to some skiddy stuff on the road. But again it started to shake at that speed.I still think that the oil is at the tyres.Or are the wheels loose?.Never seen this happen before.whats happening?whats wrong?---------------------------------------------------------------------------

atleast go for mineral oil which TVS provides for the first two services...its grade is 10W30 and in cold conditions it will be good..I dont know whats the climatic condition in ur place...I havent used castrol activ so far because a lot of fake is available in the market...Shell is good..AX5 or AX7 will be good..but again mineral oil is good for your engine atleast for some 5k-8k kms, if u r not going for any long trips...---------------------------------------------------------------------------

^^Remove the top cover and apply Three bond liquid gasket on the gasket lining. The oil leak will stop after that.

Thank you for helping
My 1st service service is due next week..
Should i wait until then or Go to rectify it now....????
Will it cause any damage if I ride it for few days before service...?
And its not a Big Manufacturing DEFECT.. right..

No No ! its not Man Defect at all i think TVS should provide some packing (gasket) for head covers also . any way if you are opening head cover then just ask SVC to replace the Black cap and if possible be there at SVC while they open head cover and ask then to use filler gauge to do Tappet settings .
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

guys which foot rear peg is a direct fit in RTR's? tried fz ones but did not fit!
I am having a hard time finding the RTR one and would like to explore options, besides RTR rear foot pegs do vibrate a lot!
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.
Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.
