I am using kick start if my bike is ideal for more than 2-3 hrs . There is a bit of sound from my Exhaust pipe?? Any reasons

Taking all Possible Precautions , also thinking of trying CBF stunner's Crash Gaurd have seen it in my friends karizma. Costs arround 400 bucks

One more thing to add I AM LOVING IT
there is no need to kick start bike......when there is self start......i never start my bike with kick.....even after leaving it idle for 15 days my bike fired in single self.........use kick only if ur battery is down.....

there is no logic when ppl say that we should kick start bike in morning.....

now in my zmr there is no kick....so no option but the self......

    • @anmol: you have ZMR? can any crash guards be fit on ZMR? my friend will be getting one so he is worried if by chance the bike falls or something........

i dont think if it can be fitted....though in zma-r stunner crash guards can be fitted.

but imagine a full faired bike with crash guards

        • ........ yeh to mere dimaag mein aaya hi nahin.... so cant we use anything to aid the bike when it slips? I mean why take chances....

          Comment

          • i think one should buy a full faired/semi faired bike like r15, zmr, 220, zma-r... only if he is a expert biker....i mean starter should avoid these bikes as fairings ae damn expensive.....take the case of zma-r its around6-8 k inclusind headlihgts....

and there is no exact rule....but yes ride safe and park safe.keep away from children []

            • Hi people

I am having a problem with my Kzma, its the 2nd time my speedo gear is broken within a day, was having a problem initially but they changed it when i brought it.

Went to showroom today as speedo was not working, they changed it and now its not working again. Is it just the problem with speedo or something else is wrong? Anyone here who has faced such problems

i got my ZMA 3 weeks back and running on my third speedo gear. changed the factory fitted and one installed at first service. The service ppl say its due to the bike being on a higher CC side. not convincing to me. my 125 CC bike has been serving the purpose for around 10000 odd kms with no hassle. HH spares really cost a bomb. Does the rain or the water play the spoilsport here? any idea?

and hey guys my trip meter switch seems to be missing from the day i bought it. discovered it later. Gonna go to the SS and enquire. i hope they dont tell me dat i need to change the assebly on a whole.

                • What is ideal RPM ratio while changing gears against the speed.
What do u mean when u say chage the gears at 3K in initial period. Change every gear taking the RPM to 3K mark..even for 1/2/3? my ZMA has done 1600 till now. Rode it under 3000 for 1st srvc and under 5k after dat.

                          hii guys

today i fixed the osram night breaker headlight bulb to my karizma without any relay..its way better than the stock..i bought 2 white led position lamps since i dint want the position lamp to look yellowish with the white headlight...but it looked cheap..so i put the stock pilot lamps itself...now i feel confident driving at night even at 80 KM/hr...i took it to my favorite mechanic and he installed without removing the kit...but now when it goes into potholes it makes some thud sound...guess the wiring position change makes the sound...will have to rearrange the wiring position in the front kit..

i retained the stock bulb with me because its a new bike...so will put back the stock bulb incase theres any problem if i have to take it to the SC ..so that the warranty doesn't get void...

Do you think service guys check what bulb you have put? No need to change the bulb when you give the bike for service. If you get any problem with bike's electricals and you claim warranty, at that time, you can put back the stock bulb. Do not remove fairing every now and then for that. You never know, vibrations will creep in.
